LSD Tea

Hey peoples!

I was just wondering if anyone has ever personally dosed LSD that has been mixed into a hot liquid such as tea or coffee? I think a cup of acid tea would be a lovely way to set sail, but I know that it needs to be stored in cold temperatures to not lose potency over time. Would the heat ruin the potency if you were to plop a cube into a hot cup o' tea and then gulp it straight away?

Yeah, LSD is in my understanding a very unstable molecule, so I wouldn't try that... why don't you just stick the cube on your tongue and drink the tea afterwards while coming up? :)

Usually tea and coffee are made with tap water which usually have chlorine that destroys LSD, and the temperature would also be bad. The question also is: why would you even want to do this, there doesn't seem to be a point. If you want to dose inconspicuously drop the dose on something solid to eat.

Ive never tried it personally but my buddy put a 5 strip into my other buddys coffee without him knowing and he DEFFINATLY tripped balls...but im not sure if it lost potency at all from the heat and im not sure if he used tap water or not but i dont think he did seeing hes huge on the whole tap water effecting the pineal gland in terms of the build up of calcium thing. Im sure it also had to do with the fact there was 5 hits thrown in there not just one or two. But i agree with the other bluelighters, its not worth taking the risk and wasting your doses. I say pop it on your tounge and have a frsh cup of yerba mate waiting for you to wash it down :)....thats usually my routine, dose and have a cup of yerba....love it :):)

^ That's fun to know :)

why would you even want to do this, there doesn't seem to be a point.

Purely for comfort and novelty, I'll be the first to agree it's completely unnecessary. I just imagined it'd be a pleasant way to begin an experience and was curious to see if many people have done it. But a lot of people have mentioned the detrimental effects of chlorine and heat, so I guess it's a no go! I appreciate the advice :)

Also of note: The acid and heat in tea could potentially hydrolyze the amide in LSD. Granted, it would probably take a while for that to happen-- but I wouldn't risk it with such a precious compound.

Mostly a reaction rate thing. When you eat LSD, it encounters the warm, wet acidic environment of the human stomach, and so sublingual is usually considered a bit more effective (significantly so in my experience) than oral. I wouldn't leave acid in tea, but if you put it in and immediately drink it you might be okay.

The question as so many others have said is why -- LSD blotter tabs are tiny and inconspicuous and sublingual is better than oral.

I think the boiling of the water to make the tea will probably drive out any chlorine, but again, LSD works better sublingually vs orally. I would not recommend this ROA for LSD.

I can understand wanting to drink the dose over time, but i don't find that necessary with LSD. I've taken just about every 2C dissolved in tea, though - i find it reduces the nausea on comeup - but that;s not a problem with LSD
