Opioids oxy OP questions

Getting a refill wednesday, so I'll probably go pick one up since people are talking it up so much. Thanks all for your suggestions! Haven't found the sweet spot for just eating them yet, but I like the long buzz. Anyone have a decent guess as to how the controlled release works? Like, for the 10mg at least, is 10mg gradually released evenly over 12 hours or does it release chunks of the dose at certain intervals...?

yeah its supposed to release evenly over 10-12 hrs
 
Well that blows. I've worked my way up to taking 7 and it's a light buzz that lasts forever, but nowhere near what I'm looking for.
 
^That's a lot. What dosage is that? It sounds like your tolerance is going up...

The controlled-release mechanism, like most controlled-release mechanisms, is designed for 10-12 hours, but that is all depending on individual variables.

I've read on other forums about pain patients who are completely legally using the new OP formulation having issues with the new OPs not being nearly as effective as the old OC formulation. Most of their doctors are just switching them to IR oxycodone formulations or to different opiates/opioids completely.
 
They're only 10 mg, so if they are released evenly, that's less than 1mg per hour...I just have them for post surgery and they haven't done shit for the pain. I also got nucynta and dilaudid. Nucynta works ok and dilaudid was disappointing, but I don't get a refill of that anyway.
 
I don't have access to needles lol, so I can't indulge in them to the fullest extent. It seems no matter how many of them I snorted or plugged, I went from sober to slightly buzzed to violently throwing up. So no, not a fan.
 
And nucynta, in layman's terms, is basically the new and improved tramadol. I'd rather have a bottle of percs or even tabs, but they'll hold me over until I find someone around here who has some fucking roxis...which will never happen :(
 
I don't think anyone said this yet, but if you grab needle nosed pliers and a dremel it works the best out of any method I heard of so far. Snorting OPs clogs your nose just about any way though, but this is about as good as it gets. I just eat the big pieces that come off of it and snort the rest. Try to dry your nose really good before hand.
 
Okay this thread has turned into nothing more than a general chat about how to get high. I see no harm reduction and am closing it. Further questions about defeating the Oxy OP extended release mechanism can be directed here.
