Gabapentinoids The Lyrica (Pregabalin) Mega Thread v 2.0

i love pregs, cant really find another drug that is so recreacional and so unharmful. i love the drunk ghb style feeling , CEVs, slight dissociation, and slight stimulation, its like having the best of a lot of drugs but its never either this or that.. its also a great drug to do mixes, specially psychedelics. i also seem to sleep so well after a pregs night, its even better.

all this talk is making want to order some of that delicious indian pregs (chinese brand sucks btw):)

very strange that you are having a hard time getting it prescribed for anxiety in the UK. its not even indicated for GAD in the US and yet you can get it off label.

you would think a dr would feel more comfortable scripting something that has less addiction potential than benzos.....then again im not sure if your dr is ok giving you benzos.

the sad thing, and MANY people will confirm this....is that lyrica eventually stops working. it is a fucking amazingly effective drug but after a few months it just stops working and the only value it retains is once weekly recreation.

i never thought i would say this but i think i understand why it was not approved for GAD in the US. maybe they found that it just stops working? i dont know. im going to give it another shot after several months of being off it. just having it around in case i run out of benzos is good. also, i did find that taking a decent dose before bed gave me desirable effects the next day. potentiates benzos too.

i should have never told my dr i wanted to stop taking it....its good to just have around. now im going to look like an idiot when i go back and ask to go back on it. however, i am citing it for neuropathic pain from scoliosis. ive been waking up in pain, and working out i find one side of my back to be SEVERELY weaker than the other.

ive just been presribed it, but only at 75mg twice a day, will that even help? she said come back in a week to see if the dose needs adjusting.

Im going through mild benzo wd, do you think 150mg spread over the day will even help?

yeah fair enough. 750mg is my recreational dose so i guess, 300 might be cool. i didnt mean 10X before i meant 5X btw never mind though.

tomorrow is my get high on lyrica day but now ive got to go to a job inteview. fucks sake. im gonna take it right before i go in and then hopefully when i get out, the lyrica will be taking effect. thatll be perfect. thats unless theres some kind of delay at the inteview and i end up being wasted when theyre asking me stuff but if it happens it happens.

how much lyrica do you need for a good high... i once took 450mg and felt a teeny benzo feeling

I started using Lyrica for benzodiazepine withdrawal about a year ago. It did wonders the first few weeks, but tolerance grew rapidly and soon enough I was using 600 mg daily. As it happened I, together with my doctor decided that although I was addicted to clonazepam, the benefits of it outweigh being addicted. So there I was, addicted to both clonazepam and Lyrica.

3 months ago I decided enough is enough, I had no benefits from Lyrica anymore and it just made me groggy and feel slow, which wasn't funny at work. So I decided to quit it. I know witdrawal from Lyrica is very hard, although Pzifer says pregabalin is non-addictive (what a joke, but a sad joke...It's very addictive. Try going cold turkey from a year on 600 mg!).

So I decided to taper off, 75 mg every other week, sometimes 75 mg a week if I felt good. I'm now down to only 75 mg a day! :) It has been hard at times, but I have been resilient and listened to my body. My anxiety rises quite rapidly the days following a lowering of the dose and I also get occassional panic attacks.

After 2-4 weeks, depending on how I feel, I will finally drop the last 75 mg and be free from this drug. I have a huge stack of it and will maybe use it recreationally (very occassionally) in the future, but right now I'm just happy I'll soon be free from it.

You have no idea how slow Lyrica makes you when you use 600 mg daily. I felt like it took away 20-30% of my intellectual capabilities at times, especially affecting short time-memory.

Am I the only one who has to take 3000-4500mg (not a typo) to get a buzz off this shit? Maybe it has something to do with my ridiculous benzo tolerance.

Benzo tolerance does have an effect, but be careful with such high doses. There is a high risk for seizures with such high doses, just for being on the safe side take some clonazepam too (has the best anticonvulsant and anti-epileptic effects of all benzos). Even if you have a high benzo tolerace, some clonazepam will minimize the seizure risk.

3000-4500 mg is not a fatal dose, but seizures are a very real risk with those doses. Stay safe :)

just ingested 200mgs lyrica + 800mg tagamet...waiting an hour then dosing 2mgs klonopin; hopefully my roxi guy calls me back and ill pick up a blue :D that would be awesome

I'm not too worried about that, I take it with 300mg of temazepam and 300mg of seconal. I feel like a extremely drunk state for about 12-24 hours, (I don't know if thats a good thing)

Lyrica gets me very jittery and i feel cracked out...anyone else?

When I first started doing a large amount alone, I did get tachycardia and it made anxious (obviously). Now it doesn't, about a month later. How much do you ingest?

Holy shit, I just realized I took over 9000mg today over the course of ~7 hours...I don't really feel too much though.

ive been notice a big increase in anxiety for about 3 days after abusing this. i think its called rebound anxiety and its making me think i should use it a lot less often.

i am going to see if my dr will prescribe this again. for some dumb reason i had him stop. well it wasnt a dumb reason but i should have just kept it and not took it.

After 2 months breaking i took 50 mg yesterday at night.

normally i always wake up tired even with 8+ hours of sleep and feel fatigue the whole day and alwasy feel i need some sleep.

lyrica makes you dumb in the long run but it helps a ton with getting a good nice resting and gets rid of fatigue.

i think lyrica could be a potential doping for sport its hard to get tired on it but i hear a lot of people actually get fatigue from lyrica.

i actually know a guy that did a running marathon with no experience while downing 150 mg lyrica
2 hours before the race and had no problem with running or feeling tired till the end
and actually came in at a decent time.

i get this scripted now, and my doctor knows i have a history of benzo abuse but was fine giving me these.

Afaik they are GABA drugs but they work differently to benzos? so they dont down regulate the gaba receptors like benzos do?

Can someone explain to me how they work?

thanks

hopefully the motherfuckers at my insurance will authorize it. It owns over gabapentin, people cannot tell me otherwise.
