County police said a witness told them that Mr. Urbini met with Mr. Cunningham, who he knew as "Tay," and traded his iPod for six stamp bags of heroin. Later, in a phone call, the two agreed to meet in Derby Alley so Mr. Urbini could trade his iPad II for 20 stamp bags of heroin. The witness went with Mr. Urbini and saw him walk down the alley, then heard shots fired. Mr. Urbini was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his trunk and later died at Allegheny General Hospital.

What is a 'trunk'? Was Mr. Urbini an elephant? Like Horton from Horton Hears a Who?

I am confused...still all this drama over such a small ammount of product, it's a damn shame. I highly doubt there was a need to kill him as Bricks & Stacks said, surely a well placed sucker punch or a shot to the back of the head with a brick or something of that sort would of handled this situation just as well.

The Bottoms is way overhyped, mufuckas act like all of The Rocks is some crazy hood when you got old white grandma's and shit livin out there all over the place. Not sayin that's what you'r sayin, just in general, I know the Bottoms is the worst part of the area but still.

I read in a different article I think it happened at 2 or 3am, the other article was better I tried to find it but couldn't. It said when the kid traded his ipod for the 6 bags he was like "I wont take less then 600" or some shit for the iPad....obviously that quickly turned into a little over a hundred dollars worth of dope I think we can all agree those first 6bags musta been some fiiiire haha. All them kids out in them west end suburbs like Robinson and shit are all strung out cuz they're so close to dope neighborhoods (like The Rocks) and their parents got a lot of cheese to give em to blow.

Don't know if you noticed the pictures of the dudes that killed em....but I'd bet my bottom dollar they was slingin dope not doin it. The 1% of dope dealers like this give the other 99% a bad name.
 
Yeah, of course a couple pistol whips would of got the job done but these kids in the hood are just trying to earn a name. Glad they got caught, dumb fucking kids..
 
Man... don't these fuckers know that in order to get by as a dope dealer, you treat your customers well (obviously not, heh)? Robbing then killing any mother fucker that you feel you can get away with will just shrink your customer base, and give you a REALLY bad name. Junkies will pay attention to who gets mugged/robbed and where, and avoid copping from those areas (well, hopefully). And yes, I am also very happy these fuckers got caught. Hopefully they get life without parole.

is there a reference source for these afro-am first names or do the disenfranchised ghetto folk pick them out of thin air.

somehow none of the black men and women that i have associated or soldiered with had whimsical first names. it seems that the phenomena is less than 3 decades old.

my surname is a slave name but my given is an old, common one with germanic roots.

a boy named sue indeed would be a preferable handle compared to some of these Ebonic ones.

What I meant isn't that the Bottoms feels sinister in that it's some crazy gangland battleground but sinister in that hustlers are hiding in all kinds of cracks, crevices, and shadows vs hustling in an open-air type of environment. In all honesty, I've had some wild and fun times at some bar across from Silky's (don't remember the name) and some other bar in the Bottoms not far from the fire station. However, walking around that area after 1 am gives me the feeling that someone might jump out of the shadows at any time. i've been down there sober during those hours, swearing I've heard voices but looking around and seeing nobody.

Man, people wanna talk about "made up" names. Like yalls fuckin names wasnt "made up" too--they just got made up longer ago so that makes em legit? How you think people came up with names? You think "james" just existed? Hell no, people made them up. but that was a thousand somethin years ago so its aight I guess.

By the way tho, a whole damn lotta these "ghetto" names people talk shit on, like Shaniqua and shit like that, aint "made up' at all and are Arabic names going back hundreds+ years, dont hate on wat you dont know.

My sons name Malik and the uppity bitches who say "OHH, Ah, thats an INTERESTING name" when they ask his name do the same thing, just shows how little they know tho.

Can't say that I'm surprised at the location, or the pic of the perpetrators. Sadly the more news articles like this I read the harder I find it to not be racist. There's a lot of hoods out there that would just as soon murder someone for their sneakers.

^Do you feel the same way about white people, and how there is a large amount of serial killers among white males? Or how about a lot of the worlds' mass murdering tyrants (Hitler, Stalin, Vladd the Impaler, etc)? Stuff like this shouldn't make it "easy" to be racist.
