i would not recomend you use "colgate savacol antiseptic mouth and throat rinse" and stick with the traditional ones such as "listerine" or "colgate plax" as savacol contains chlorohexdine? an antibacterial, most dentists would tell you to use that if something such as listerine or plax doesnt work. if you are using savacol now, i will gurantee the bacterium in your mouth will start to become resistant to that, if any larger outbreak occurs your gona need to have stronger antibiotics which means a costly dentist appointment.
if you really get a infection that wont go away, try getting one of these at a chemist. its a syringe but it has a narrow plastic tip built in, monoject (see photo) suck up some either savacol or mouth rinse that contains hydrogen peroxide and put the tip where your tooth and gum meet but dont ram it up under your gum. then squirt the fluid in. it may not look like anything is going up there, but there will be. (hydrogen peroxide introduces oxygen into the space where not much oxygen is, killing the anaerobic bacteria which causes damage, and well savacol has antibacterial in it) also try using alcohol free mouth wash, as it tends to dry out your mouth even more.
Floss, brush then rinse or brush, floss then rinse. no point rinsing if there is still bits of food in mouth.
anyway do you know why you get bad infections? its because meth dehydrates the crap outta you. salvia in your mouth acts as bacterial defense. when you get on the meth, salvia dries up, the bad bacteria find a oppontuinity and grow. best way is to stay hydrated during a binge and chew sugar free gum. avoid alcohol as it usually contains sugars + alcohol also dehydrates the crap outta ya.
