Traveling with LSD

In less then three weeks, I graduate high school and I'm going down to Florida for a week with a few of my friends. We're driving down, and it's going to take around 20 hours for us to get there. Our main concern is how we're going to get our doses down there and keep them away from the heat at the same time. We have blotters if that makes a difference, but I'm just worried that inside our cars it's going to get too hot and make are doses go bunk.

We were going to put them into a vial, putting the vial into a mason jar, and then bagging it up and covering it up with ice. I'm not sure though if it will really keep the moisture out or not, and I'm thinking when we stop for gas we're probably going to need to replace the ice A LOT. We used a similar method for Gratefulfest, but that wasn't anywhere near a 20 hour drive.It also seemed like a pain in the ass when we had to dump the water and buy some 5 dollar bag of ice...

Maybe we're over thinking it too, I don't know. I just want them to still be good when we get there

Any suggestions or tips would be GREATLY appreciated :)
 
I think you are over-thinking it. Find out what hotel you are staying at and send yourself a card Drugstore Cowboy style.

I have had no problems putting my sheets of blotter in a notebook and keeping that in a cool part of the car.
 
Keep them in the coolest part of the vehicle in their normal containers. The trip shouldn't be that detrimental to the quality, esp. if you are taking them once you're down there. It doesn't sound like you intend on storing them for a year or anything.

Seems likely to me that it will be subjected to the same sort of weather, though it is possible that a car is that much worse.
Just keep it out of the baking hot sun. If I were you I would first make it airproof and lightproof in one go (aluminum foil, put in baggy, put baggy in another baggy) and keep that where you keep the drinks and food you take with you. Store all of it in the shadow and I think it will be okay.

Think of it like this: 10 degrees C rise in temperature decreases shelf life by half, 20 degrees means 3 quarters. 20 degrees Celsius is normal ambient temperature, above 40 it feels impossibly hot! So at worst you would then see a 4x rate of degradation but that is only if you keep it tightly under wraps. Make sure there are no greenhouse effects or something, or it might cause extreme but local temperatures. So watch out with glass mason jars?

I'm just worried if we stop somewhere to eat or whatever and they're in my car when it's turned off. I drive a black audi with black interior, it gets EXTREMELY hot even when I leave it out of my garage for just 30 minutes or so. In the morning it's usually too hot for me to just get in and go because I end up burning myself on the leather, So i have to start my car turn on the ac and let it chill for a bit,and it's not just uncomfortably warm.. it gets to the point where if your skin touches it directly for even a few seconds, it's going to hurt lol. I guess if we do stop somewhere that's going to be longer then 10 minutes I should just keep them on my person then.

Good call, I didn't think of this at all... I think we're just going to try tinfoil/ bagging it up. I don't see them going completely bunk anyways, so I'll just bring extra in case we need them.

Get a very small watertight container (and I mean watertight) and put it in a small thermos flask filled up with ice. It should stay seriously cool for hours. Put a small weight in the container to keep it at the bottom of the flask - this is just in case you get stopped and police look inside things. You could put a touch of orange juice in to make it look respectable. I did this in very hot temperatures in Spain many years ago, and it kept perfectly for over 3 weeks (in very hot cars, in a tent and on the beach).

As for containers that are watertight, you can buy these in chemists and other places - people with certain disorders (e.g. diabetes) put information in them which might be useful if they have a problem - they can then go swimming in the knowledge the instructions are secure and won't get soggy and unreadable should they become unwell.

Oh, and if there's any police officers reading this, look into my eyes 8o ....... and forget everything
 
You're over-thinking it. As long as you keep the tabs dry and out of direct sunlight, you'll be alright. Heat takes a lot of time to degrade LSD, but water will degrade it instantly. So your main concern should be keeping them away from condensation.
