Just wondering if anyone else shares this with me, I sometimes have open eye visuals, of steaks lines and sometimes vivid images. But I ALWAYS have closed eye visuals which are completely random. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I usually have open eye visuals if I'm in a dark room. When I'm in a bright room, I never experience visuals unless I'm on another substance too. I definitely see things differently when high tho, I simply don't hallucinate them.

I had the most beautiful open eye hallucinations for the first time that I did gravity bong. It was for the first and last time I experience marijuana's full potential. I was at my friends house (really nice wooden house in countryside) just resting on the bed, looking outside through a window when I noticed that the light from outside is getting really intense and it felt like I was physically covered in it. A few minutes later (when it really kicked in) I felt like it was travelling through my body and I experienced indescribable euphoria.
Even through it was the most intense experience with cannabis and in many ways the most beautiful I wouldn't do it again. I accidentally had such a high toke from gravity I thought I'm gonna die for almost 15 minutes just because how badly my lungs hurt and before I got comfortable with my high I experienced the dark side of cannabis with the same intensity as the hallucinations.
I fell like I can achieve same kind of experience much more easily with shrooms or lsd.

Yes I get effects like this from smoking, eating, or vaporizing THC.

It happens when I have a very low tolerance, I'm either vaporizing or getting high off of a nice Sativa, and I've tripped on LSD and mushrooms before and I smoked herb while tripping so that probably makes herb more psychedelic for me. Sometimes I'll get some basic synesthesia while stoned where I'll feel sounds or see colors but it's not like the vivid type of synesthesia you get while on LSD or mushrooms.

I also remember being a teenager and listening to CDs on my portable CD player and I could make up scenes/movies to the music that were very vivid and looked like dreams but I was completely awake and stoned.

From the few times I have done it, yes.

They were most prominent during an anxiety panic attack, which was most of the time I smoked.

The panic attack induced pretty brutal auditory hallucinations (voices) that I responded to multiple times before realizing nobody was there. I also heard a police scanner while right in the hypnagogic state after smoking one night. Oddly enough, this one of my only good experiences with cannabis. Probably a combination of the THC and the hypnagogia, as I normally hear shit very vividly right before falling asleep, sometimes vividly enough to wake me up or even respond.

I've had on 2 occasions a tactile sensation of pissing my pants. Weird, I know.

Mental imagery was very pronounced and very outlandish random every time I smoked. Though, you need to understand the difference between CEV's and mental images. They are different.

Never any frank hallucinations, ie. straight up seeing shit that isn't there, but plenty of tracers. I always get what I like to call the "giant world" effect. When focusing on one frame of vision, my vision perceives everything I'm looking at as an over sized world, including myself. Staring at the TV on the couch seems like I'm godzilla staring at a big futuristic city monitor, the floor being the city below me. The space around me feels so vast. When I'm walking around in a fairly enclosed space like a house, it feels like I'm a tiny fruit fly adventuring throughout the environment.

Also another visual, it feels like my brain is just a giant screen. Everything gets placed in such a panorama that it feels like it's in a painting. VERY difficult to describe. When centering my vision, I can see out of the corner of my eye that my hands are 2d objects that swirl around in colors. They almost look like "claws" of some sort.

This is probably normal, but when listening to intense trance/electonic music, it's like I can literally "feel" the music being processed my body. I could describe it as a cloud of energy pulsating in my chest.

One day I hope to experience these amazing effects without paralyzing mental and physical anxiety. It's weird. I love these trippy effects only in retrospect. Never when they are actually happening. Go fucking figure.

I have friends who hear stuff during the hypnagogic state of sleep or falling asleep and they don't use any drugs at all.

I've had audio hallucinations while high but it would happen during telephone calls.

Like once I was baked at home and my mom called but her voice sounded like my mom's friend's voice. Another time I was on a school trip and I picked up the phone in the room I was in with other students and it sounded like our teacher calling me but it turned out to be this girl who was on the school trip with us.

I know other people who had this happen with people calling them on the phone while they were high where the person's voice would sound completely different.

damn i've been smokin the dart for 16yrs and never had any visuals :( and trust me i've had it all...best was hash rocks back in highschool

I think it depends on the strand you are smoking, But a few times I have smoked and started to get Hallucinations

I've tried (i'd think) most of the stuff in SE QLD both bush and hydro and really nothing visually wise just really really really smashed...keen as to hit up holland and see what happens there

I've had a few visuals, things like looking at my ipod and the playlists are scrolling without me touching the phone. That batch was defenitly laced with something.

I always hear things, like when im home by myself ripping cones in my room i'd hear people talking in the lounge room..

Back again after smoking for the 1st time in 2 months yesterday.

On my way walking home, I had to cross a street because the sidewalk ended. I vividly heard a car coming, like I swear a car was driving down. Stood there like a retard watching both sides back and forth, no car in sight.

Little bit later, I'm still walking and I actually do see a car driving behind me. In reality, I'm sure it was going around the posted speed limit (25mph), but being stoned made it seem like I was trapped in a nascar ring. I damn near jumped on someones lawn to avoid it.

Walking down a neighborhood street, I see people doing everyday shit like washing their cars or doing whatever. Being a paranoid schizophrenic whenever I'm high, I kind of freak out and look at my phone and pretend I'm doing something so no one gets suspicious. I stare at the thing for what feels like an hour, only to find I'm a couple steps away from where I originally was.

When I'm sitting around alone by my computer, the depersonalization can really hit me hard if I'm not careful. There's still those thoughts in the back of my head that I'll be stuck forever being an "entity" rather than a human being.

Depending on one's definitions, you could definitely say Cannabis has hallucinogenic effects.

I'm proud to say I didn't have a full blown panic attack, but the body hypochondria was still there. The mental effects actually don't seem to bother me too much anymore. It's the body high. That sinking feeling in your chest. The pounding heart. The cottonmouth so bad that food is actually the LAST thing on your mind. Also, the nausea nearly overwhelmed me. Not sure what this is. The reason I think these anxious feelings are good to mention is because there is no cause to this anxiety what-so-ever. It's completely irrational, which implies that there is something psychedelic going on.

Oh, and just thought I'd add: I get a lot of stomach discomfort when stoned. Immediate nausea after trying to eat or drink water, more pronounced when I'm standing up or trying to sit back down. My stomach also "beats" just like my heart. Wondering what the fuck this is about, considering Cannabis is used to ease symptoms like this. Not a hallucination, just thought I'd add. It's an instant high killer for me.

I've rarely had them, but they weren't full blown hallucinations, just more like my mind playing tricks on me. For example, I remember seeing a small tree on a hill on a sunny day, and the way the tree and shadow interacted on the plane didn't make sense to me... like it was an MC Escher painting or some shit.

SWIM hallucinates alot when smoking on some sort of upper, whether it be adderall, vyvanse, or white girl. The combination of the upper with smoking causes both open eye and closed eye hallucinations. SWIM sees repeated visuals when smoking on these. Every time in the past year swim has seen some sort of super mario character in the patterns of the ground or on tree bark.

I've gotten visuals many times on weed. A lot of times its in combination with other substances, but it's defintiely happened with just weed. The visuals are very specific to cannabis; they don't really look like the kind of visuals i get on lsd or mushrooms. Last night for example, I did a bunch of cocaine and drank a bit of alcohol. Then I came home and took a fat bong rip, and I got insane visuals. I seriously felt like I had taken mdma, the visuals reminded me a lot of rolling too (shakey eyes, everything blurring). I notice a lot of times when I combine alcohol and weed it's a much more trippy high and I get visuals often with this combo. I'm talking a lot of weed though. I know many people don't like smoking a lot after drinking a lot but I love it, never really makes me sick or anything.

you gotta stop sketchin man, we dont swim here.

It's definitely hallucinogenic when you smoke or eat enough. When I smoke a lot, I get lots of tracers, bits of furniture in my peripheral vision changing colour/shape, fractals overlaying my vision, wallpaper/flooring/etc looking like cartoon-ish, full-on (albeit faint/distant looking) closed-eye visuals, hearing background noise that isn't there, etc. When you're smoking enough to hallucinate, the hallucinations are completely overshadowed by the effects on mood, thinking and body sensations anyway, they just add a bit of flavour.
