IV morph potency question

Stumbled upon some 15 IR's and i am going to bang them considering they are rare to find and worthless when eaten. If it takes 60-90mg oxycodone oral to get a very very intense high how many mg of morph IV should i start with? I've looked at a bunch of charts but the fact that this is IV vs oral is a tad confusing to me.

oral morphine is not worthless AT ALL TO EAT, yeah the ORAL BIO is low like 33%, which when people hear that they think "Oh great i have a morphine 100mg, if i swallow it my body will only abosrb 30mg??" dont let that put u down, because my tolerance to opiates it very high, 32mg suboxone daily, when in withdrawl, 150mg MSCONTIN (morphine) orally, actually got me high, and lasted awhile, most morphine in pill form is abuse proof, it gels up when u try to shoot it, so if ya cant shoot it, dont bother sniffing it, =morphine if u have it, swallow it, u will get a buzz/high. im very tolerant, and 150mg gives me a buzz...dont bother trying to crsh a morphine pill as they gel up, i never seen an IR, but i doubt FDA would let it slide..if that was the case it be like shooting heroin, like 80% same thing, as all heroin is, is Diacetyl-MORPHINE, just souped up morphine that hits your BBB faster...eat em!!

Morphine is 2x more potent than oxycodone via the IV route. Going from oral oxycodone to IV morphine is a serious step up in your addiction.

I've banged hydromorphone many times, i just usually stuck with oxycodone because it's around. Also the only reason i "put down" oral morph is because last time i ate 400mg i was incredibly disappointed. Crushed up 4 x100 ms and drank them.

Morphine sulfate sucks via the oral or intranasal routes. IV is the only way to get the best of it. I think morphine hydrochloride has better intranasal BA, but still shitty oral BA. Morphine diacetate (heroin) sucks via all routes, except for IV.

Overall, morphine is an IV drug - period!

thats why morphine is mostly given out at hospitals, on an IV drip, oral Bio is higher then intranasal, when it comes to mscontin or the morphine tablets that gel up and are abuse proof...it works great oral to me

How many units would it take to dissolve 15mg? Also, like most other opiates morph is water soluble correct?

The solubility in water for morphine sulfate is 60mg/mL, that being said for 15mg I'd probably use at least 40 units to make sure it's all in, and do a wash with about 20 more and suck it up in the same rig, just to make sure you've got a good 90-95% of the drug.

Kokaino, I don't know if I would use the term morphine diacetate, that would imply the (di)acetate salt of morphine rather than substituants (as in the case of diamorphine); also, I'm not sure that you could get a diacetate salt. The only salts I can think of with two molecules are bitartrates (hydrocodone).

Even the gelling morphine preparations are able to be injected if you know the proper technique (MSContin=crisping). For harm reduction sake your morphine solution should cool and be refiltered before injection.

morph is indeed a very "heavy" feeling. Still prefer my oxycodone but i am having a grand ol time

I find morphine to work pretty good orally and i prefer morphine sulphate SR over oxycodone. The bioavailability of oral morphine is pretty poor but if you take enough of it the only difference between oral and IV morphine is that you don't get the rush you get from IV use. I have a pretty big tolerance and 200mg's of morphine taken orally will get me high. It tends to be more sedating for me when taken orally too maybe because i don't get the kick like i do from IV use.

Just thinking back...using a half CC rig i would hit one 15mg at a time. Now due to tolerance i was doing this all damn day and found myself having a grand ol time but the next day my veins where incredibly sore. I missed a smidge but quickly noticed and corrected... that area was the most swollen. Is it normal to be sore the next day? Only the sites on my hands hurt, not arms. After a day everything was back to normal but i couldn't imagine pinning every day like that...
