So here is my story, its in no way another "ecstacy has fucked me" thread but i am dealing with a few issues, none too severe and i am confident that i will overcome them, also a reason i am sharing is for some input/feedback from others on bluelight because i find you are a very knowledgeable group and i think this is the best place to look for advice etc.

Around the beginning of 2010 I rolled for the first time, I was with a few friends and one of them had a ridiculous amount of Blue Telephones, apparently these are extremely strong and fairly clean pills. I took my first pill around 10pm and til maybe 4 or 5 am i had consumed 4 of these in all. I don't have to tell you guys how i felt i know you can imagine. We all watched the sun rise in the morning which was awesome, and i had smoked that morning and my roll came back. I was very sick for two days after but still extremely happy, watching and reading everything and anything i could find on the web about E, and the surrounding culture.

My afterglow lasted me what seemed like a week or more (not entirely sure) but i definitely experienced a different positive outlook on life and this went on for a couple maybe 3 months.

Fast forward to today i am 18.5 pills in and have kept a 3 month minimum gap between rolls, although taking ~3 pokes a night sometimes probably wasn't such a good idea.

Although these experiences have changed my life and outlook mostly for the better, i still have a few negative effects, for one i am having trouble with short term memory (could also be due to the herbs, also its been getting significantly better because i'm overseas for college and don't have access to E or bud), and i feel like my attention span and cognitive abilities have been affected, sometimes i have trouble finding words, and expressing my thoughts into words correctly and in an academic manner.

When i return in a couple months I'll be trying out a daily piracetam/5htp regiment.

Can anybody suggest any other suppliments/activities that could possibly help with the cognition? I know reading helps, also i feel better as time goes by.

Thanks for reading. :)

The piracetam will help with cognitive abilities, and although 5-htp wont hurt I don't think it will help other than to give you a mood lift.
You could try Fish Oil which is great for your brain, and take a look at the mega supplement thread.
A healthy diet and exercise go a long way too.

I forgot to add, I am currently taking Omega 3 gels daily, i've looked at the mega supplement thread but its a bit overwhelming there are so many haha but ill definitely look into it more when i have more cash to spend on supplements.

The 5htp helped me regulate my appetite and put me in the mood to go to the gym i guess that was good :D

thanks for the reply

I'm always so happy to hear people talk about how much Molly's changed their life (or in this case E). It has changed my outlook significantly too and can relate with the OP really well. What a blessing it was for me to find out about ecstasy :).

As far as suppliments go, make sure you're getting all your nutrients. Diet and exercise. It sounds cliché but it helps enormously.

^ definitely, my life would have been different if i hadn't done E, just gotta remember to do everything in moderation, i think most of us get a little carried away sometimes :x.

I need to work on my diet and exercise, ive been hearing that a lot and i keep trying but fall off course after like two weeks.

time to read around the healthy living subforum haha

Honestly riptide, it sounds like you're doing it right :D
3 pills in an entire night, IMO is nothing to worry about, especially when US pills never have more than .1 in them (if that)
is it possible you're just psyching yourself out? i'd be willing to bet the bud is contributing at least to memory issues.........

OP: I've found piracetam very beneficial, especially if I "attack dose" the day of, meaning at least 2x the amount I'd normally take if I'm doing a daily regimen. I have actually found that pre-loading for weeks on piracetam is not nearly as beneficial as just taking it the day of.

5-HTP is great after, if taken prior to MDMA use, it will actually diminish the experience. I am not certain how long prior to MDMA use you should discontinue 5-htp, but I believe it's a few days.

Mac98- I consider trying MDMA one of the best decisions I've made in my life, I'm happy you consider MDMA to be been a blessing. If treated with respect, I think most people can benefit tremendously from it.

I actually find this post interesting. My friend takes 5-htp for about a week prior to the roll. So 7 days every day after rolling and stops for about 5 weeks before rolling again. 5-htp is a serotonin liberator, so if you take it too much before rolling you won't benefit from you Molly 100% since you're already lacking a bit of serotonin (nothing major, but still).

And yeah, Bsiren, I love hearing how much Molly has changed people's lives. Before rolling, I never fully grasped how much love one was capable of feeling. It's nice to know that our brain has the capability of making us feel like that. Truely astounding and humbling.

ya i use to have problems with memory and stuff, and that feeling of not being able to find words, know exactly what you mean (not drug related)
but I cut out sugar and cleaned up my diet and I don't have problem with it anymore.

I would try getting progesterone cream.

But the problem is related to hpa axis no doubt. Don't worry there's nothing wrong with your brain, people with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome also very commonly have this problem. And it's been proven that their hpa axis is off as well.

Honestly man living a healthy lifestyle is much simpler than it may seem. There's not really a need for special diets or being super vegan or anything intense like that; it all really boils down to a few things -

- Avoid fast food like the plague. They have everything we hate: high fructose corn syrup, high sodium levels, high fat/trans fats, and tons of sugar. Not to mention everything you're eating is massively processed - one fast food hamburger can contain parts from upwards of 20 cows. This includes the skull, etc.

- Don't drink soda.

- Make as much of your own food as possible. If you know what's in it, you know it's good.

- Try to implement more greens into your diet. Whether you eat a ton of spinach or buy a green powder supplement (vitamineral green is the best imo) either one will do loads for your health. No veggies = high body acidity = malfunctions

- Walk for at least 30 minutes everyday. Perhaps park your car further in the back of the parking lot, etc

I feel that these are the basic guidelines I follow. YMMV.

Remember kids, YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.

You sound like me except the amount of time I kept doing it was longer and I healed with time, feel fine. Had a rough month but I was already depressed abou sumething (or was i? :) lol

Yeah Last year of highschool i was smoking every day so it is most lkely the problem, I did a bit of research on E before i started to take it and even more after the first time, and when i do roll its more of a spiritual experience than just to roll my face off, my first rave was in 07 and my first time rolling was in early 2010, thats about two years of raving sober while all my friends were rolling. The pills in Cali are pretty good we get some quality pokeballs over here..
and yeah i might be psyching myself out, thats why i wanted feedback so i could get an outside perspective on my habits.

how much weed do you smoke? also how much do you drink?

I smoked quite a bit of weed but im a light weight so not as much as most, maybe a spliff or two max a day, also i don't drink very often but there was a few months where i would drink a lot on the weekends, but all i need is 5 shots to start falling over and stumbling.

Im going to start on piracetam as soon as i can get a hold of some when i get back home, ive read up about it and its definitely useful supplement, I've pre and post loaded on 5htp for most of my nights out rolling, and i spent a few weeks on it (1 in the morning 1 at night) so im familliar with its effects.

Ill have to look that up i haven't heard of it, it just frustrates me because there were times where i couldn't hold a proper discussion/argument without blanking out on words and looking like a total idiot. Its getting better though :D

Yeah the only fast foods i eat are late night munchies like taco bell but not so much anymore i am trying not to eat at night, i have a 15 minute walk to and from class everyday from my dorms and i walk/bus everywhere. I also cook most of my meals i just need to start eating salads and fruit more. Also when i order at a restaurant or when i have a choice of drink i just go for the water, its cheaper and more refreshing. My goal is to start jogging/running daily and to quit smoking right now (not too difficult).

Thanks for all your replies this is helping me a lot. =D =D
Its time for some lifestyle changessss im excited.

if your smoking weed daily, im more inclined to say thats where you memory issues and shit are coming from rather than moderated ecstasy use. but piracetam and all that other good stuff people suggest will do you good. healthy living is important just to structure your life imo, but thats a recent revelation i had.

im having that revelation too, i've been trying to eat healthier and work out more, also trying to start working on my abs etc but its difficult haha
