JWH compounds Vs. Real Cannabis

I've never tried any synthetic cannabinoids, tell me whats up. I'm a MMJ user for severe stomach pains due to a botched appendicitis. Could any JWH substitute for good marijuana/hash in terms of medicinal value? These seem to be on every corner of the internet, interested to know the pros/cons versus real Cannabis.

If this doesn't belong here, sorry mods.<3

We don't really allow "what drug can i take that will do this" type questions, but, regarding the general question, the answer is -- all of the synthetic cannabinoids were originally designed to look at potential medical applications. The naphthoylindoles had a number of safety and side-effects concerns, including epoxidation (---> cancer) and anxiogenesis (an issue with many cannabinoids but not with the novel FAAH inhibitors or selective CB1 ligands e.g. JWH-073).

I've used jwh 18, 19, 250 and some other variation that i dont know even got a name.

What I've found is 250 is the smoothest of what I've tried. 18 can be wtf harsh. lol. This shit is honestly the crack of weed. It aint weed but It's like weed and a little bit will put you on your ass. 250 lasts about 2 hours and the fade is a nice after glow. Gives me the muchies like you wouldn't believe. I'm thin cause I dont really get hungry much. Often I'll have 1 meal in a day. It's my appetite. But after I vap 10-15mg of 250, I could eat a whole sleeve of saltines then keep on going! I stay out of the kitchen now when I get messed up on JWH. I dont know if if would aid in pain relieve. Things seem to hurt as much when I'm baked on this stuff as things hurt when I'm sober. I tend to care less about it when I'm baked but yeah that's the point anyway. Distraction. For me anyway. Makes sex out of control. The happy ending is like going from your normal hand-grenade of woot to hiroshima wtf just happened and why am I still cumming omg i want to pass out.

Con vs the real deal is... you really have no way of knowing your synth shit is pure. You just have to hope your connection isnt going to give you battery acid one of these times. Always to an allergy test every time you get a new or different order. I like the jwh cause it's a good ass time for 1-2 hours and then it's basically over and you get bent as hell on just 1 hit. Fast high, short duration. I like that. If I want to be stoned all day I just take another hit. But if I want to drive to the movie in 3 hours I know I'm golden to hit it, have fun and be straight for my date later.

I guess the biggest con is RCs have very little long term testing data. People have smoked weed for holy shit forever. Lot of these RC's have only been around for a few years and the amount of people doing them and long term affects just can't be known. Maybe it will make you gown a new wank inside your lung in 10 years. Totally unknown what horrors might be wiating to crop up later unlike what we know about weed.

Weigh the risk vs reward. Whatever you do, bro I hope you get better. Having issues cuase someone borked your appendix is just the suck.

Is there a comparison chart or something that states the differences between the compounds as far as their medical applications? I've heard some are much like real Cannabis, while others are almost tryptamine like which I can't see having much medicinal purpose. I wasn't asking what I should take (not interested in cancer), the possible adverse effects vs. real cannabis is more of what I wanted to discuss. You can edit my post(s) accordingly.

The best source of information is probably just to read what people actually felt from the things as there's not really a whole lot of data on them.

That is what I have been doing, I figured real comprehensive information would be hard to come by, as they are so new. It seems like these JWH compounds are being created left and right, it will be interesting to see what long term medical problems they will cause. Its a shame there is no JIHKAL.:D

spice just makes me feel brain dead
real cannabis makes my mind speed up

it started out as a good substitute cause i cant smoke weed, but now im tired of it

its hard to be social on it without sounding stupid, plus it lasts for a much shorter duration

Spice is some shitty herbal blend they add some JWH compounds to, is it not? It logically seems like smoking random plant matter would probably make your brain feel shitty.

I agree, the spice high is good, I enjoy it, but it's harder to focus whereas regular pot is easier. I kind of have a one-track mind on the spice, sometimes I just want to lay down, or do one thing at a time, but just that one thing, and it also makes me silly, but not in a good way, whereas pot I just act normal, and maybe I'm silly in a good way, because my mind is functioning better, and I can think about all kinds of things at once, and do different things without hindering me too much (a lil off but not noticeable). Very good point tho u said it perfectly, spice makes me slow and lazy for about an hour, then it wears off and I want more, whereas weed I just get to the point where I have enough and I can chill for a few hours, and don't really think about having more too much.

One good thing about spice tho for me is I don't get the munchies or cottonmouth, which I do on weed, both kind of fuck my eyes up a lil.

I really dislike the fake ones, after using them daily for so long. They are kinda bad for you too. if you wanna smoke something and get drug tested its good

Do you see that thing on the left below, the part with the two rings?

You might want to avoid those just to be sure. That is the naphthoyl group mentioned above. And I *think* that the CB2 receptor is the primary target if you are looking for pain-killing properties. That means that you want a Ki value for CB2 that is as low as possible.

On the other hand, cannabinoids with really low Ki values might fuck with your receptors much more than cannabis, with unpredictable long-term effects. But this goes mostly for the CB1 part, there is no ceiling effect with compounds like JWH-018 and this can mean that CB1 receptors get down-regulated even though cannabis has a built-in protection mechanism against this (the modulating effects create a ceiling). I'm not sure at all but personally I am weary about this, some people get tolerant to these potent cannabinoids and it feels wrong and potentially harmful to me.
