40mg Methadone Yesterday, Dope Today

I've been doing dope everyday for about 3 weeks. I've doing roughly 3 - 4 bags of kensingtons finest, so pretty strong stuff, each day. I took 40mg of Methadone yesterday, to begin to ween myself off of the dope, since Im just kinda of getting back to normal right now, but last night my girlfriend died of a heart complication in her sleep. I am torn apart and in tears, the pain is unbearable. I know I shouldnt use drugs to cope, but I need something to take the pain away, so I went out and bought a bundle. Ive never taken methadone before, but I took 40mg yesterday in hopes of getting clean, but with what just happened, I need to snort some f'in D. I know subs block dope, but if I took methadone just one, and it was 40mg yesterday, will I feel 3 bags of dope today or will the methadone block it?

TL;DR - 40mg of methadone for my first time yesterday, will I feel dope today?

I don't think that it will block it, as it has not been taken regularly enough to build up in your system. Please take a lower dose of D if you are set on taking it.

I'm with Tommyboy on this, reduce your heroin dosage if you're going to end up doing it, always best to play it safe since there may still be some methadone in your system.

Thanks for support and advice all. I took two bags and a football and its working great. The methadone is still in me a bit too, normally I dont get nodding off like this. Im feeling completely numb, this is great. Ive just been lying in bed in and out of sleep

Its medicine, thats what its there for and you shouldnt feel bad. I don't know your story but imo you shouldnt feel bad about WHATever you have to do to cope with something like that.
