I've decided you need a new video capturing device :)

by teh way, my buddy who runs a green energy organization (solar panels, outdoor lighting) has been using LEDs to create lighting solutions for home/venue lighting now for some time. He's getting into using these bulbs for Rave supplies (even though he isnt a raver or bluelight kinda guy) and has brought me in for help.

Right now he has LED hula hoops, belts, jackets, pre wired gloves (moving him into providing chip/housing based stuff), and more. So, as a bluelighter, when stuff gets up and moving, I'm expecting some of you might transition from the "big guys" (emazing, OLS, LEDKID, etc) to us, considering we will blow their prices out of the water and I can make deals with all of you for being BL members :)
 
i think it would be interesting to see a list of everyones gear/led bulbs. This could help us theory craft interesting sets, or have other people help craft sets

I have 2-3 complete sets of every microlight except bits,bit2, keks & 6 modes, I have atleast 2 of every 3 color strobe and ribbons. I got every 7 color strobe avail (they all suck :/) i got almost all the 7c ribbons. I have 400 batterys, 9 extra pairs of cpv gloves, too many diffusers, 2 pairs of plyers, 10 black and 5 clear orbitskis (they suck) & a ton of inova housing and clips from buying my first set at target.

why do the 7c strobes suck? i want to use the evo 2nd mode on a few of em before i go to "they suck"

They kill batterys fast for some reason and when they begin to dim they look fucked up for some reason basically the colors change.
and inless they are moved really fast they just dont look right. Also having a random tan or orange dot here and there didnt appeal to me.
Its opinion though ya know? U may like them, wich colors are you thinkin of?

I do indeed. Unfortunately I only have 2 options: my personal camera or my built in iSight webcam (which fucking BLOWS for recording light shows). It doesnt pick up any of the color from the lights and it makes them seem way brighter than they really are. So Im stuck with using my camera but it gets the job done.

Dotz:

how many maxlight casings do you have? i just cut all my leds once i got a set of non dotz casings, even thought that meant changing out the bulbs everytime i wanted to change a set.

unless you really like dotz housings.. i couldnt stand how long it took me to turn them on/off during a show

true, i was more curious because i dont have any experience with them yet i just ordered a set. I haven't gloved with them yet, they should be here this week.

I got the BWG 7cs, mainly to use in 2nd mode (it looks kinda like an ice/frosty blue and "glacier" white 2c strobe imo, if that makes sense)

I only have 2 Maxlight casings. I dont mind using Dotz since Ive had them for over 5 months now so naturally Im used to them. I have no problem turning them on/off. Dont know why youd wanna turn them off during a show o.O

I would love to get the BOG set I want but unfortunately have no means of making money. The money I do have and get from my biological dad goes directly towards my student payments and bus pass. So I have to wait until I pay those before I can start spending on lights. Now that 420 passed and I "stopped" (more like taking a break) smoking weed, I should have money to upgrade my lights within a month hopefully.
