100-year-old bottle of morphine stolen from museum

i bet they woulda felt played if the bottle was empty or just had some fake pills in there just to have something in the bottle...but that makes me think how much vintage drugs are around the world just hidden off.. like when heroin was legal and u could buy it in stores wonder if in the back of some old guys barn hes got some stash ..or even in a old ass bomb shelter ...would be funny to see the american picker guys find some drugs from the 30s in the original package

My dad scored a bottle of heroin, morphine, and cocaine HCl from an accidentally partially locked display case while working security years ago at a large hospital. He let his neighbor friend play guinea pig for a cut =p Totally, absolutely, very much still active after all those years. I think the morphine may have been a heroin/morphine stack pill, I have to ask, it was something crazy. I remember he said the coke was from some german lab and was like crystals.

He said he saw that the display case had been rearranged and the key had not turned all the way to the locked position. He took out another key just to see if it would work and he stuck the tip in to get leverage, and surprise surprise, it turned. He said he did a full scan all around the big hall he was in just to make sure he wasn't being watched lol it was too good to be true, he thought he was being set up to get fired =p Opened it up and snatched the three bottles. Probably like 30 years ago.

can't say I wouldn't if given the chance =p the ol' smash n grabs messed up though

Damn crazy fucking story i can just imagine the feeling of just "omg" when the key turned.

As i was reading your post i got chills. I bet he had a great time.
 
^That find is my idea of perfection, the original find but also the one your dad had. I can only imagine that feeling when the key turned-lol shit like that needs to start happening to me. I've always wanted to aquire one of those old bayer heroin bottles. That's one piece of history I would like to have, just for the hell of it.
 
Once I stumbled upon two cocaine liquid vials from WW2. As I do not inject, I was a little affraid to swallow them.

I just poured them on a cigarette, to no avail of course :!
 
ok I talked to him it's been a while since I heard the story lol

So, I recalled wrong, no heroin, it was all morphine and coke. The one bottle he said looked like it was full of diamonds, that was pure cocaine HCl from the German lab. There was another bottle of cocaine in pressed pill form from a lab / company in philly. (He said they dissolved in water completely). Then, from either the same or another german lab as the coke crystals was the crazy bottle, 'Number 1 Extra Strong' pills, (I'm trying to find these things on google in a minute haha), he says those were 50% Morphine, 50% Cocaine. lol so yeah, no heroin but still quite the unique score. They probably didn't even notice anything was gone for a while, he'd eyed up the case many times before n knew the few cool bottles he would want in the rows of bottles and surgical instruments used by a famous early cancer researcher =p (And this was over 35 years ago now)
 
Too old ? found a bottle of "M" from civil war,over two hundred years old.Still good and strong like it was made the day before.The Wenatchee Valley Medical Center is sadly mistaken.I'd say that museum was asking for it!

Its only been 150 years :p
