Dexedrine question

Day 1 - Took 30 mg at 3 pm
Day 2 - Still awake at 11 am

But most of the time I was using the notebook/laptop. Didn't go to bed. Didn't take any sleeping pills (ambien/seroquel).

Didn't feel sleepy!

Is this normal?

My normal dose is 15 mg 3x per day, total 45 mg per day.

Was 30 mg all you took in that 20 hour period? Were you doing something addicting on the computer (i.e. gaming, mp3s, etc.)

Yeah, just 30 mg.

Watching youtube vids, reading forums, reading news/sports websites.

No other substances.

Didn't feel sleepy at all.

I have sleeping pills, ambien and seroquel (25-100mg), but couldn't be bothered to take them.

You should consider yourself lucky. I would need to take probably 150 mg at least to be up for that long.

Had some chinese (ate a lot) at lunch on day 1. Then a Big Mac meal at 7 pm.
Had powerade at 9. Drank a glass of orange juice at midnight. That's it.

No recent changes. No other meds.

I take Dexedrine IR. And then Ambien or Seroquel for sleep as needed.

My only idea is that there was a bunch of food in your stomach that slowed the absorption significantly. This might not be right...

Plenty of food in tummy slows absorption therefore the Dex IR had a long effect?

Yeah, the Asian lady put a lot on the plate, I think for 3 people, lol. And I finish it by myself.

I think. The reason I asked about antacids is because they slow down how fast your stomach acid breaks the amphetamine down (basically...). My thought is that this might be the case with you and food.
