Ecstasy - my experienc so far

Thanks everyone... you all are awesome. Thanks for the info.

Damn dude! Im gonna have eatin mad beans by the time I you're age. Fuck at least 2 or 3 times as many as I have quite a few by then.

Oh, thanks, Master... now I feel like I might as well have one foot in the grave. Jeez. LOL... 39 is up there, but it aint THAT old. ha ha ha.

So, if I go to a rave or something the one thing I don't want is to be lookin' like a cop. Would it help if I was wearing LED gloves or something??? How about if my pupils were like saucers? I think its hilarious that I've NEVER been to a rave like that... been out to clubs and danced, but nothing like I'm picturing a rave is like. I would probably stand out so bad. A little E would so help take the edge off. And that's another thing... finding the E is killer too! I'm not askin... I'm just sayin!

It's hard being new to this and being so "OLD". but I appreciate all of your comments and help. This whole thing is really fun.

don't sweat the age but to be fair you are definitely over the average age of most ravers. however a good friend of mine is like 44 and he gets fucked up as anything at shows and parties with us. throw on a little neon eat a few beans and just chat people up. oh and make some kandi, trading kandi is a pretty good cop out for social interaction lol. also i'd say tell people your new to the scene/rolling, everyone loves a little newbie(no negative connotation meant) they can show rave tricks to like vicks n such.

Before you know it youll be all sweaty, sticky, oozing vicks from your pores and mumbling thru a pacifier! SuPaH RaVrrr LaDy! *grinds teeth* :)

If you're having a good time and dancing as hard as everyone else people will clearly know you aren't a cop. Also, if you actually talk to people and make friends instead of just being the dude who creepily asks "Know where I can score?" in an awkward tone, you will meet quality people and they will see you're just there for the party too. If you just want to meet people and have a good time you will have no issues with age, but locating drugs could be harder only because of your age and people's wariness for undercovers.

Just buy VIP and hang out with the socialites at clubs and massives. Your down to meet some soft adult pusssy thats rollin on E and is dtf when you take them home.

no light shows or gay vicks required. =D

That's the best advice on this thread
I'm in my 30's and that's what I would do

Ok... thx! NEwbie question follow-ups.... what's "kandi"? What's a "massive"? And, are the events at The Mid Chicago considered "raves"? Those are the only events listed on the social boards.

Thanks! (Hope this education of a late bloomer isn't getting revolting... I appreciate the help tho!)

I prefer rolling at home, just because the comfort of being at home elevates my roll so much. You don't have to worry about how you're going to get home, where you're sleeping, what music you listen to, what you do. Anything goes when it's just you and the MDMA.

Rolling in public was probably one of my worst rolls. I started to come up in MacDonald's and immediately felt tired and drowsy. It caused a lot of anxiety as I was with a lot of people I didn't know. Instead of creating a feeling of love, it exasperated the anxiety I already felt.

So yeah...rolling at home > Rolling in public for me, but of course YMMV.

Hey all! This is my very first post here. :)
I have done ecstasy 7 times in the past year. I have to say... I think it's the best thing on the planet!!!!! I love love love it. But I'm also determined to not over-do it.

Drugs of any kind are new to me. I'm 39 and lived a very sheltered life (LONG story) for a LONG time and only recently discovered any drug of any kind. I have only taken one puff of weed, and now ecstasy... That's it. So, it's all new to me. I love this forum and all the info. Thanks to everybody who posts. It's really helpful, especially for someone as green as me.

So far, I've done MDMA only in the privacy of my own place, and always by myself. I have the best time ever! I can't imagine anything being greater. But I'm kinda excited because I imagine that doing it at a club would be a whole new level of experience.

What do you all think? Is is the experience really that different? Does the environment make that much of a difference to the roll?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

aw that's so cool to see someone older experiencing E.
Yes I would definitely think it's much better with others. E is really social, it's great with other people

Small Town Ecstasy

It's a pretty interesting documentary about a guy who does E for the first time at age 40. It shows how he gets into the rave culture and how drug use changes him. I think the guy is an idiot, but that didn't stop me from watching it the whole way through one day when I was really stoned. I won't give away the end, but some of you might enjoy it.

Description: "A look into the world of a father posing as the ultimate open-minded, pill-popping dude. Scott's a 40-year-old preacher's son and a raver, enamored by marijuana and Ecstasy. This film highlights the effects of his lifestyle on both him and his family."

Hey Chronic... thanks for the link. I actually stayed up and watched it last night. Really interesting. I agree... the guy is a little nutty. I'm all for experimenting, etc. but when it puts your family at risk, it's probably a sign that it's out of hand. Or, if those are the choices he really wants to make, then I suppose that's his right.

Anyway... very interesting. One things for sure... I'm not going to a rave anytime soon - especially when wearing an upside down visor. LOL

Thanks for sharing.

Both (rolling at home or at a club/rave) are great in their own way, neither is better.

Great point, but I think it's really more of a preference thing. Some people only want to roll at events with a bunch of people, some prefer to do it with just some close friends. Neither is better, it's all just a matter of personal preference.

Haha yeah the style of clothing in the video looks pretty ridiculous these days (especially on the dad), but those were the 90's....sigh.
