Need quick help with morning glories

I've got 4 different packs. I've got the Flying Saucers (425mg), Heavenly Blue(425mg), Crimson Rambler (425mg), and Pearly Gates (650mg).

I've never tried them before. Can I mix and match these seeds? How many mg would be a good size dose for a 150 lb male?

They don't mention anywhere about the seeds being used for planting purposes only, or show any signs of possibly being chemically treated. They are the American Seed brand that you can buy at Walmart.

I'm not sure about the 'Crimson Rambler', but you can indeed mix and match the others. The Heavenly Blue seeds will give you the least nausea and the most lucid high out of the three.

I'm not sure about milligrams or grams, but a good dose of Morning Glories is 350-400 seeds.

I would advice an extraction of some sort. Those seeds are likely contaminated with pesticides and other chemicals that will cause nausea and a stomach ache.

excluding the 'Crimson Ramblers,' you have approximately 1.5 grams of MG seeds (in the future, just stick with the heavenly blue variety. The other varieties are questionable in terms of psychoactivity). In my experience, this amount likely won't do anything, but it's good to try a threshold dose first to see if you react negatively before taking a significant dose.

What is a typical dose of heavenly blue MG seeds? It varies. The seeds are not very consistent in what alkaloids are present and in what amounts. For most seeds, ~8 grams is usually about right. But, I have had similar effects off as little as ~4 grams of a different batch though, so it's best to buy enough for several doses so you can establish the strength of your seeds, and titrate dose accordingly.

I should also note, the character of the trip can vary as well. Sometimes they have a heavy body load with nausea, vomiting and muscle cramping, and other times these side effects are conspicuously absent. Sometimes the trip is very sedating and apathetic (high ergine (aka LSA) content relative to the more psychoactive lysergamides), and sometimes the trip is more visual and light on the body akin to acid (presumably, higher amounts of lysergic acid hydroxyethylamide reletive to ergine).

MG seeds can be fickle, but they are still a worthwhile psychedelic if you have the patience to try it several times in spite of lackluster results.
good luck.

Agreed, I also find that seeds from shops are usually smaller and weaker. Probably left out in the sun which destroys much of the LSA. Better to order from an online vendor, safer and effective.

I just wash the exterior of the seeds with dish detergent and a mesh strainer prior to ingestion. Seems to work well enough for me. I think a certain amount of nausea is unavoidable with MG seeds.

Cold water extraction works well. I wouldn't bother with anything beyond that in my opinion.

I never had much luck with CWE, but perhaps my technique wasn't very good. My preferred way to ingest is to grind the seeds into a fine powder in a coffee grinder, then drop a spoonful in my mouth and quickly swallow with water. 2-3 swallows is usually enough to get it all down for me. Chewing them is quite nasty, I don't recommend that btw.

When you grind it into a powder, but it in a milkshake or ice cream beverage of some sort. So easy to consume and easier to digest in my opinion. I have had minimal nausea doing this.

Yeah chewing is not the way to go. Grinding them up in powder can work though. That is way better than chewing. For CWE I doubled the dose that I would want to take normally. I did 500 seeds extracting them for 1 hour and it worked very well. How much nausea do you get from the powdered method? I might have to attempt that.

It varies. Occasionally none, occasionally enough to vomit, but usually light and transient. I find the nausea usually subsides by the time the trip really kicks in though (which seems to take several hours for me)

The thing I don't like about vomiting (which I got from munching on seeds) is that when I did it came out of nowhere and it was really forced. I was lucky that I was walking by the sink at the time, and the trip was amazing after I vomited but I wouldn't want to have to do that again.
