weed is a shit drug IMO, the effects are unpleasant IMO. i dont like the whole (or at least I get/feel PRETTY IMPAIRED) but you KNOW youre impaired. Benzos i dont mind necessarily if theyre free or whaeva, cause yeah you'll be absolutely FUCKED, stumbling, slurring, the whole 9 yards but you dont KNOW youre fucked up and you dont CARE. weed makes me paranoid, introverted, lazy (lazier than usual at least) and honestly, fucking retarded. Other than benzos/alcohol, there is no drug that makes me RETARDED the way weed does.

^Word the first time I hit a vape it was magical, the high was/is completely different, IMO, it's like a weed high with all the negatives taken away, unless I want to be tired.

There is no compressor because I don't really know how to use a compressor yet except for side-chaining, but the bass has a really short filter envelope decay time, I kinda like how it's kinda clicky, maybe I'll smooth it out a bit though, maybe if I turn the resonance down a bit or something... It's almost time for bed though so I'll probably work on it a bit tomorow.

No I don't have reason, I've watched plenty of videos of Reason and it really does look very cool and I especially like how you can press tab and it flips to the back of the "hardware", very cool but to be honest it's still a little confusing. Pretty much I think I can do everything I would want in Live eventually, so I think I'm gonna stick with that for a while.

^ I'm reallllly liking how that track is coming together, man! :) As for the bass, a couple things:

I'd probably lengthen the decay, as right now it sounds pretty short and clicky, and it doesn't seem to last long enough to make the note of the bassline itself really clear and well "stated". Also it seems to have a little bit of a swing rhythm for some reason -- is that what you were going for?

Yeah that is the effect I was going for, but yeah I'll definitely try lengthening the decay a bit, thanks dude :)

my money would be on booze, but then again, my money's almost always intoxication over basically anything else.

tonight's intoxication was shortlived, almost painfully so. i want a psych that doesn't leave me wishing it wasn't over... ofc, i don't want one that makes me wish it would end either. I'm getting the feeling that RCs don't have what i'm looking for.

(also, 10tacos for 1$ in a mexico city suburb a few years back.... dont even want to think what they had in them, but the deliciousness was awesome)
