okay so here this fucking weird story.

I know its very shady, and no one should do it, but I have been doing it for awhile... I get my subutex mailed to me in NYC because I work two jobs/no health insurance and never have the time to go to a damn clinic/doctor. I am flat broke and this was always the easiest/cheapest way, for my guy in NJ to ship me his.

Well this time I get my shipment, via USPS on time... but in a plastic bag. I notice the envelope inside the bag is completly ripped along one side.

The plastic bag reads: We sincerely regret the damage to your mail during handling by the Postal Service. We hope this incident did not inconvenience you in any way. blah blah blah.

So I rip it open doubtful that I will find my pills when I see a red dime bag. The red dime bag is filled with subutex. A little powder from them rubbing against, (normal wear and tear). Come to find out, the subs are 1 short.

Does anyone have any guesses on what could of happened??
Im pretty sketched out, but I definitely would be more if they were gone altogether. My guess is that the envelope had a partial rip in it, which it does, so they ripped the letter along the side completely to see its contents, and somehow dropped one? or took one? I dont know.

anyone heard of this?

yeah I mean my first reaction was furious, but now im kinda happy.. he must a been a pretty cool guy to investigate, find prescription medicine, and put them back????

Or to send to a lab. Be careful, there may be consequences coming.

This was my first thought but why let the recipient know you were in their mail? If they're gonna put you on a watch list, they'll put you on a watch list because they want to catch you, not freak you the fuck out.

On the other hand, I imagine people get all kinds of nutritional supplements mailed to them all the time. Just because they didn't come in a Nature's Made bottle doesn't mean they're illegal.

If you get pills sent to you in the mail, I would advise against using letters/envelopes.

We aren't here to help you break the law, and this isn't the USPS Discussion Forum either. ;)

I'll go ahead and close this. If the other OD mods think this would be better off in LD, they can move it there.
