so ive taken 60 mg of adderall extended release before, and my guy just gave me 60 mg only this time theyre tabs. he tells me to take half cuz these will hit me way harder. is this tru??

ER (extended release) are designed to hit you slower while IR (instant release) are designed to hit you immediately. I'm not sure how the Adderall preparations achieve this but whenever dosing a new drug it's a good idea to start low, in this case with half.

if you;ve got enough tolerance to be able to handle 60mg of XR, 60mg of IR isn't going to be radically dangerous. you might dose it in stages so you don't waste any.

I would start with 20 mg or less of IR, unless you are looking for a potent high. ER is approximately three times as long as the IR in terms of half-life.

Well - all has been said! UTSE and I'll add (too the masses by saying the repetitious) 'yes' start lower than you would with XR. Why? Just because (of what was already stated above).

From experience...........I used to take IR adderall and when i took the ER adderall I had to take twice as much....

So yes If he is giving you IR take half of your usual dosage of ER adderall.

If you are used to ER and you take to much IR you are going to have a panic attack from hell because it hits you so fast........

Yes, an overdose of adderall can literally give you a heart attack. Don't take more than 20mgs at once orally.

I messed up really bad once with it and toke 13 20mgs within 12 hours and thought I was gonna die. Amphetamines can be dangerous.

yeah i used to take 60mg of adderall once a week with no tolerance and that was a good amount for me to feel pretty damn good for a short while. I haven't done the extended release ones but i believe they would be better because the comedown isn't as harsh and it's more of a longer high. 60mg will make your heart race real real hard, and lasts a few hours and alot of times has a comedown not being able to eat/sleep and feeling real irritable.
