New to BL from NYC.

Hello. I just wanted to say a quick hello, so I may introduce myself. I was browsing on BL the other day, and decided to give it a go. I've enjoyed Reading the different prespectives and ideas from the other members... 
 
welcome to bl.hows the big apple? Tell us about yourself..what u into..im from oz,probably about as different lifestyle as you could get.what you do for a living.
 
I'm not a fan of living in NYC anymore. I use to really love it, but I think I had enough. I use to live on The West Coast & Hawaii , and that was really great. I'm all about travelling, and working abroad.

What city are you in?
 
I use to be a Sky Hostess/ Flight Attendant. But, unfortnately that work has dissolved. So, I do high end catering, and I working in a boring law office... How bout you?
 
im on the gold coast,hour south of brisbane..good surf,good weather,good fishing,good night life and descent drugs...im a shipwright by trade,but w the gfc thats fucked out,but also did composite eng/ technician. So i build carbon fibre components.everything from aerospace parts,full race cars,race yachts..anything they want or need to be light and strong.flight attendant wouldve been good fun if u dont mind flying.whats your drug of choice?

I think I would really enjoy living over there, sounds beautiful. Flying was s gr8 time, Ive been all over and had gr8 experiences.

As far as DOC. I like to experiment. I'm kinda down to try most things. I still can't say, that everything has been checked off my list,

It depends on environment. At pubs and clubs, I like to do coke or maby powdered XTC. Though, it's been awhile, since I have. I use to really like Special K, but Im
not sure it's still popular here. I remember working with animals trainers, and having it at an arms length away. But, what I really enjoy for the purely relaxation and calming effects is H.

How bout you?
 
hey there orangeclock, hows it goin ? my mate just came back from nyc, heard street gear was more then decent, he said he tasted best charlie ever, for like x bucks, is that possible ??
as seen on all those 90's films i thought nyc lives on special k, im suprised to hear its not that popular anymore ??

I'm sorry, I don't know what Charlie is... But, I know most things favors are cheaper her. Espcially in the outer borroughs (Brooklyn and Bronx), You know K could still be very popular, it's just not as much my scene anymore. When, I went out to clubs more often, a large group of us, would come across it. One thing, I always liked about clubs NYC, people are very inclined to share. The lat time, I did K was when I got it from a former co-worker from animal hospital.

I hope you enjoy it in NYC. I never really enjoyed it there but I only visited on a tight budget to begin with. It isn't a bad city overall - I know because I have lived in a horrible as fuck city. :|

"Charlie" is a nickname for cocaine.

Ketamine is popular in small circles; it takes certain other groups of drug users to have a certain number of them also like ketamine, because on random, people tend to either love or hate ketamine's acute effects. Sometimes a bit of both, especially with addiction.

Please be aware ketamine addiction can induce something called ketamine bladder syndrome. From what it sounds like - it is horrific.
 
There are things that I love about NYC, but it's easy to burn out in a city like this. Alot of people are abrassive here. I prefer NYC over living in the Mid West, but I really like living on West Coast or internationally.

In the case, Charlie, yes you can find $10. in NYC, buts it's really small.

I never heard of Ketamine Bladder System. I always thought of K as a once in awhile thing. I thought the likelhood of K addiction (phyiscal and behavioral) is rather low. But, I did know of one guy, that I heard went cuckoo as a result of always doing it.
 
Moved to CT from NY seven years ago.... people are slightly less abrasive! NYC definitely has a good party scene though!

Having travelled a heap did u make it dowm under...be a different world to ny.we say hello to strangers on the street ..i went to Toronto,which would be friendlier than ny i'd say and the miss' told me to stop saying hi to strangers.it was like a scene from crocodile dundie..plenty of high end restaurants here too.pack your shit and enjoy the smple life(dont pack clothes only party supplies..)
 
As for drug of choice?? Probably charlie(now u know what thats ozy slang for) but hard to get waxy fish scales,worth an arm and a leg..enjoy amphet,mdma,quit the weed after 11 years of being a chimney.lsd's off the list now too after getting out of hand a few times..bit of 2cb now and then,enjoy k but not in public.good fun to go fishing on,just remember to have a sober skipper or the coast guard on speed dial.

Well, I spent most of my time here in NYC, and Im def not like most of the other city people. I use to say hello, or smile to people in the streets and people usually ignored me. Heck, the people I just started working with, barely say hello to each other, and we all work together. The party scene has changed. It's not as diverse. So, there's not much left on the pro NYC side. Though, I will say when I lived in the MidWest, I use to drive 15 hours just so I can get back to NYC. So, I guess Im a bit of a complainer.

Even with all my travels, I have yet to travel to Australia. I've been all through the USA, Europe, India, Hing Kong, Japan, Canada, Jamaica, BaHaMa's, Cayman, Mexico, and United Arab Emirates.

I've planed on going, but sadly it hasn't happened yet.

Ketamine can be *really* addictive, but you are right; I use ketamine once in a rare blue moon, and I haven't had it for a *long* time, so yeah, I just think there's that "kind of person" who can use it in large doses and most others probably couldn't.
 
nyer here too, long island! ^ nah a k hole is when you completely become out of touch with reality. kind of like catatonic. so intense you gotta sit down. and it takes alot more than a few bumps to experience ego death, consider yourself lucky!
