seen quite a few of batches of bromo tabs originating in newcastle or thereabouts over the past few years so that would be my gut instinct if the effects profiles match up.

Yeah this is the batch I'm talking about, definitely stronger! It's crazy that they are throwing more in each drop after everyone raving over the strength of the last ones. If someone hadn't tripped before and took one they'd be floored!

Aye, basically if you were double dropping them, you'd be glad you didn't! - Best way to describe it. They are noticeably stronger, someone has fairly wacked the dose up a bit as opposed to a 'freshly laid' batch.
 
Also, forgot to mention, the way to tell the difference is by the yellow border on the sheet, I can see a few people getting a few tabs from the middle and unsuspectingly eating one too many. 8o
 
aye, will b looking for them ones :D if they have kicked it up a notch on the dose, they will be flooring people everywere!
there is still liquid about here, will have to get some before it disappears too, u had any of the liquid about lately?
 
it was at least 18 months ago but the only bromo tabs I had came from Newcastle, forgotten what was on them now but think it was some kind of cartoon.. luckily they were sold as bromo so I knew what I was taking but still was a nasty trip.. some cool visuals but after 15 hours or so your just ready for it to calm down a bit, wasn't horrendous but should have just done some liquid

it was new years the year before last actually, going into 2010, someone at that party shit themselves and got it all over the place, ahh, its all coming back to me

I like the idea of somebody from the NE (Ashington ideally rather than Newcastle) pronouncing the words 'Bromo Dragonfly'. I'd buy it straight away. :D

I actually like Bromo's duration but I can see why people would want it to stop sooner. All that really annoyed me was the shivers (at first - then they started to feel incredible) and the shits (which came on about 16 hours in for me but were very liquid and very violent). Sorry to mention that, but Tekken had already gone down that road so why not?

Selling it as acid is criminal though. Luckily I haven't heard of somebody using any of the popular LSD blotter prints so just be wary if you encounter something that hasn't been reported in this thread (and I know it can be difficult to identify from just a few tabs sometimes).

Don't take more than one tab at once unless you're absolutely certain of what you're getting.

Luckily Bromo has a bitterness that can't be mistaken for blotter ink, so there's that at least.
 
haha the guy that shit himself at the party was on speed, meph and acid but mainly gallons of booze, no bromo :D

didn't get any problems like that myself but do remember the shivers, don't think i'll bother again

was reminded last night the bromos I got in Leeds (off a geordie) had the Andy Warhol 'tomato soup' print on em
 
Booze was in my mix also, which no doubt had an effect. It was way more erm... pronounced than my lavatorial episodes with aMT though. Or booze alone for that matter.

Sounds like you go to even classier parties than me. ;)
 
Can anyone post up a pic of these new avatars? Would love to get my hands on some of them desperately. Also was offered some super marios blotters a while ago but have heard that they are a choice for bromo. Anyone ever heard of these going about?

Definitely heard of bromo Mario prints but I don't think it's exclusively one that's used for bromo (just like the Getafix tabs).

Saying that, Google 'Super Mario bromo' and you'll see a pretty recent report on Erowid. Seemingly sold as LSD too.

If you had the Avatars beforehand, they are the exact same except for on the full 25 navi sheet there is a yellow border. If you haven't seen the Avatars before let me know and I'll find a picture for you. It's basically an image of a Navi (the creatures in Avatar).
 
Alright then, the avatars have come round again. I think I'm going to pick a couple up for me and some mates. Will be our first time taking acid and pretty cautious, think I might half my hit to be on the safe side. I'm 5"11 and 120lbs (skinny cunt I know), my mates say its pretty clear that whenever we take drugs (MDMA, Shrooms, even weed) they always say they hit me the hardest, so probably best I stay on the safe side if these avatars really are as powerful as people say... I'm so excited, yet scared. This normal? I hope it doesn't affect my experience in the end.

dont be scared of acid, just understand at what it will do to you once you have taken it and constantly remind yourself that your only on a drug if things turn eerie :)
dont let the thought of 'a bad trip' bug you before or when you take it, its very hard to have a bad trip if your with the right people in the right place, my sister had shrooms for her first time a while ago and hasnt had them since as she constantly told herself she was going to have a bad trip and ended up running the shrooms for herself :(
anyway, i had a half of an avatar a few weekends ago and it was brilliant, the perfect dose for a first timer i would say, but the batch i had were quite strong but quite delicious :D

If you're in a positive environment with good friends then it's very unlikely you'll have a bad trip. More likely it'll be giggly, colourful euphoria - especially if you dose cautiously to begin with. :)
