how is ketamine a party drug?

Yay for different ways for one to enjoy k!

So i've done ketamine once, and i did one large line equivalent to 6 bumps, and it was alooot for a first timer, but my definition of being fucked up is alot more than most people, because their were people with me who did two bumps, not even a line, and were talking about how messed up they were, anyways back to my question, if ketamine can make people go to into a "k hole" in which most people claim they can't move, and have hallucinations etc, how is it suppose to be a party drug if most of the time your so messed up, the last thing you can do is dance or even party at that matter? also i'm gay and in the gay community ketamine is real popular with sex, i also don't get that either. When i did the ketamine i experienced what most people say they experience, extreme dissassociation, pretty anti-social, anasthesia, total numbness in my body, the last thing i could see myself doing when i was on it, was partying at a club or anywhere, and having sex, can someone please expain to me.

Dosed too high clearly to enjoy yourself.
Try dosing lower for more party experience.
Research dissociates and there effects.
Research the doses of ket.

shit pills- real mdma wouldn't wear off after an hour, the peak comes down a bit but if your drugs were real you would have been battered for about 4-6hours. sounds like weak crappy pills to me

You could argue the same thing for alcohol. If your experience was knocking back half a bottle of tequila you might question how getting that fucked up is it possible to be an enjoyable party drug. More is not better, as everyone has mentioned there is a difference between small bumps to set the mood in a club (kind of like one or two shots) to railing a k hole amount and being trapped on a couch.
 
um noo, i've both times i did it they were tested because i did them with 2 experienced ecstasy users and they also told me it was one of the cleanest rolls they had, don't get me wrong i felt it, but i didn't feel real empathetic, loving, or touchy, i felt real light, my best friend who has done ecstasy over 6 times, always buys the high quality pills and none of the pills he had were weak, and he always takes 2 at a time, and than he said it lasts him 4-5 hours, while other people couldn't handle taking the two and freaked out, besides the actual ecstasy high is not known to last 4-6 hours from even one real good pill if you look it up, the actual high at it's most from one pill is 2-3 hours, and than the after effects, i don't think i've met anyone who were actually high from one real good pill for 4-6hours, that's why people re-dose to make the high longer because it doesn't last real long. And if for some ironic reason they do happen to be high for that long it's most likely cut with a large dose of meth.
 
i dunno, i found ketamine a bit giggly. like mentioned above, it depends how much you take

as for as a sex drug - probably because anal sex is painful and it's like a painkiller?

i remember when i was ill at a festival i had flu or something i had a bit of ketamine and it does wonders as an anaesthetic. from ouch to aaahh!!

as for the guy who was pissed off in this thread maybe he has his own complexes idk

yeah i guess your right, because even with alcohol, i've never blacked out in my life, i have upto 8 shots within an hour, and after the third shot or so, i realize i can't get anymore drunk, i've tried this numerous times i get drunk, but never black out and never get too wild and i have no tolerance to alcohol, i guess the human body can be very interesting.
 
Oh you can dance, not with much agility, but its more dancing than falling.... both happen though

The idea is to only do a little bit in bumps over time instead of a lot in a little bit of time. Smaller amounts and you feel floaty, large amounts and your on the ceiling staring down at yourself.

you dont know what you are talking about. one good quality pill will last from between four to 6 hours. clearly you are talking about weaker pills. why not just get MDMA crystals? it makes more sense. a pill can test for a drug but knowing exactly how much is in it is a bit of a guessing game. in another thread you mentioned that you "always get pure meth". you need to realise that it doesn't make you look cool to think you're drugs are the best, just under educated. everyone who has been doing drugs a long time knows that the quality varies greatly especially among powders. good pills one week, bunk copies the next. its all part and parcel of buying drugs.

a low dose of MDMA (90mg or less) will last for 2-3 hours, a big dose like say 250mg of MDMA crystals will last a bit longer than that. i've been taking MDMA for about 7-8 years now and a decent dose will last unless you are doing pills every week, but tolerance isn't the same as standard effects upon a non tolerant user.

i've had one (VERY) good pill fuck me up for a whole night out and into the morning, its all a bit of luck and dependent on the pills strength, pills cut with meth are less common in the uk. still i would avoid uk pills as they are not often MDMA
 
I love trying to read about k only to be bombarded by very vivid and graphic depictions of homosexuality
 
^ Extreme a-typical homosexuality... very fringe practices... sorry, did not want to start a discussion just note that what person originally wrote about and made sound common are NOT "typical" homosexuality but quite rare. I just wanted to correct that, not start a discussion. But why you are bothering to mention that again is beyond me.
 
K can be a fun party drug, but due to it's somewhat unpredictable nature and extremely strong effects, it can present some problems.

I find doing tiny bumps frequently is a fun way to enjoy ketamine in a party situation. Don't do too much though or you'll first find yourself getting extremely confused and losing trains of thought, and then your motor control is completely shot, and then you're not really in "party mode" anymore...unless of course, there are lots of other partakers around you, then it's fun !
 
I don't know man, I agree for me it's a lay around and explore my brain drug. I've almost k-holed before. First time I ever did it some chick was feeding me key bumps for free at a festival, bad idea. I saw myself in 3rd person, everything was all glossy and embossed. I was talking with my brain, almost felt if I died there right in that moment I would be at peace. Not scared, but accepting of death. Once it started wearing off I was like a child, I had to be watched. I got lost going anywhere. Wound up getting lost in the woods that night in search of Muddy Buddies with some other kid that was K'd out.

Other times that I've done it I just want to be by myself. Not really too big on the K like a lot of other people I know,
 
I end up at clubs/raves a lot, as well as festivals/shows, and while it used to be wayy more common for me to do, i typically only do it now in a combination with a stimulating substance. when i would end up at smaller shows that im DJing at or some friends are, i used to regularly take a bump or two (always after i played!). like everyone said, its a strange almost-depressant effect, with an added trippy side. there is something to be said about the disassociation giving you a pleasant sojourn away from the over-stimulation experienced at a rave.

these days im typically drinking a little bit and IME that combination hasn't worked out the best for me, and certainly not for my partying stamina. i definitely enjoy doing bumps on top of cocaine, amphetamines, 2C-B , and especially MDMA/MDA. typically it doesn't leave me tired or more willing to stop partying when in combination with stimulants, but once they wear off and you are chillin at the afterparty with a couple bowls, it definitely starts shifting to the stronger, more flooring experience of ketamine. add in some N20 for real afterparty fun!
 
K is the most anti social drug in the world, even in low doses it makes your speech slurred and makes your memory shot to pieces to the point you cant hold a decent conversation.

Dont get me wrong K is a wonderful drug but it's the introverts drug of choice, most definatly not a party drug if you take it at a club you will look like a gormless creature, talk like a mong and basically have no chance of getting your penis wet.
 
Definitely viable for going out, dancing and speaking to people. Including sexual targets*. But dosage is critical.

*in a nice way.
 
if you keep it under control, it's nice. closest thing I can compare it to would be being smashed, but not even that is a decent comparison. It's its own thing. Best when combined with other stuff like mdma and ghb! ahhh..
some of my mates khole in clubs, which is really irritating, often they get kicked out and you have to drag em around or get a cab for them to haul their asses home. personally i prefer to khole somewhere comfortable and not in public but different strokes for different folks i suppose
