I'm managing to eat about 600 calories a day (won't let me go over 1000) in some way or form. Today I ate a Veggie Samosa, and some lettuce in a wrap.
why can't you go over 1000? 600 is well into a starvation diet. Its been proven that eating a dramatically reduced diet (but nowhere near as reduced as yours, i guess the lower the calories the larger the physiological effects) for a prolonged period
predisposes you to disordered eating which in turn predisposes you to eating disordered. its a deadly path. please try and eat more. if you've been doing this for a while already you're already at a hightened risk of heart attack.
are you getting extra calories from alcohol? i really hope so, its not the healthiest way to ingest calories but it is definitely better than sticking to a starvation diet- have heard of anorexics whose lives were actually saved by alcoholism.
sorry, i know its none of my business, and you may well be aware of he danger.
in addition, i know you're having a difficult time emotionally right now and, as the link points out, self starvation makes you less emotionally equipped to deal with any issues that come up and induces depression.
on the plus side. when you're not feeling utterly shite or completely disoriented because your for short term memory is fucked, you'll feel totally numb, sometimes amazingly euphoric, and it gives your life purpose. this is why i can't ever truly let go.....
sorry again for sticking my nose in, i just couldn't not.
