Hello bluelighters

It is that time again where Aus Social needs a new moderator.

With Klue stepping away from BL at the moment for personal reasons we are looking for his replacement to join the team.

So if you are interested in becoming a part of our Aus Social Mod Team stick your hand up. This is a pretty light hearted post but when you think about responding please take it seriously

We currently have a few discussions going between staff that we would like a fresh face to give some insight and thoughts to. So if that's you...

There are particular things to consider before putting your hand up though...

1: How do you feel about the site?
2: Do you have the time to spare?
3: Are there things coming up that would hamper your dedication to the position?
4: Do you venture outside of just Aus Social?
5: Please tell us a little bit about yourself and how you feel you would make a good addition to the Aus Social Mod Team.

It depends really, you would need to be able to at least check in a couple of times a day I would say.

Some can work on more and some on less.

Let us know in your app how often you do spend on BL in a day.

Would be some more apps.

Do you have to be Australian, or from the Southern hemisphere, or have ever been to said hemisphere, or have ever posted in this forum before now, to be in contention?
 
Naturally it is expected that a promising candidate should be a regular useful & helpful contributing member within the forum they wish to moderate.

Good luck to those who apply. Being a mod is actually a rewarding role, and it's fun and a great time killer which has more meaning than just pointless posting!

So yeah, you'd pretty much more than likely want to be from Australia, New Zealand or Asia, and be a solid contributor in Aus Social :)
