Heroin dosage help

So I've never tried heroin before but have always been curious. I got a bag tonight and I have no idea how much to take for the first time. I plan on sniffing it but don't want to take too much. Honestly I don't even know the real amount of what I have so here's a pic...

I've been doing different drugs (acid,shrooms,coke,pcp) for about 17 years now so I have pretty strong tolerance for most things. Any ideas roughly how many lines I should get out of that amount?

just do a bump wait a little and see how you feel and keep doing that in small incrimients til you get your desired "feeling"

Break that up into 5 bumps. Do one and wait 10-15 minutes. Repeat as necessary but once you've done 3 of them wait 20-25 minutes.

There is no way we can tell how potent (or not potent) your heroin is just by looking at it through a computer screen.

In fact, there's no way to even know if it's heroin the first place.

Yeah for sure. I wasn't expecting a precise answer really. Just wanted to know a rough estimate, like take it all or split it. The guy I got it from is a good friend and claims it's really strong. Again, not saying much really but I trust him so I know it's at least not utter crap haha

The answer is we have no idea how strong it is and therefore no idea how much you should use. Start very small and work your way up. Heroin isn't usually the starting drug for most users as it can be so potent.

*Mod edit: 100% pure heroin is actually very white. It is impossible to tell the purity (or lack thereof) of a substance just by looking at it.

grizz, because we don't know what potency you've got the best (and safest!) method is to do what the other posters have mentioned and start with a few very very small lines...or even small bumps and see how you feel after each one. Snorted heroin does act pretty fast, but it won't be instant, so give it some time. You'll know when its working, trust me on that one
