I have a Carisoprodol soma

Only 1 isn't going to do anything IME. 2 will get you high, but like Threat said, it's best for potentiating opiates.
 
what dosage is your pill? IIRC, it comes in 250mg and 350mg strengths. Either way, one pill is probably not enough to experience "recreational" effects from this drug, it might make you feel relaxed though. I used the quotes around recreational because not everyone gets any recreational effects from this drug, regardless of amount taken. Personally, I find it enjoyable, it feels pretty similar to being drunk for me. My dose range for the stuff is 700mg-1400mg.

Thats quite a bit. I've only used it a few times, but every time 700mg had me pretty blotto.. I was stumbling around like I was drunk, but I was coherent.
 
I have just found an old bottle of carisoprodol. They are fron June 06' Any good? Also Butalbital and Hydrocodone.

All are around the same age. What do I have really and what can still be taken? I know what Hydrocones are and I believe Carisoprodol are Somas. Anyone have any suggestion?

I currently am prescribed Adderall XR 30's which I love, what a life changer they have been, lost 5 pant sizes, I can keep a thought in my head without my mind wondering all over the creative world and coffe no longer makes me tired.

One more thing about Adderall, when I keep my tolerance level regulated, meaning that when I see I am needing to increase dosage, I will detox myself over the weekend. Adderall reminds me of a Snorted coke high that lasts for about 5 hours. Granted it is only around 10 %, but uphoric all the same.

So, back to my question: What do I have really and can they still be taken?
 
There are several treads on this and most, if not all, of what I am about to write is in them. I suggest doing an advanced search for 'soma' or 'carisoprodol' in 'titles only'.

Soma is an odd one IMO. When I first started toying with it 700mg was required to feel altered. I used to get a very nice rush from it that would last 5-10mins but wouldn't always occur.

I would strongly caution dosing too much early on (in your experience with the drug) or repeated dosing. For me the 'high' lasts maybe an hour tops and early in my use I would redose repeatedly or dose too high and end up losing muscle control - unable to walk, shaking violently - pretty scary. Also, dose to effect ratio isn't reliable for me. Its not like 700mg = x feeling, 1400 = y, its unpredictable.

It is great for potentiating opiates though, even tramadol.

Well one isn't going to do anything. That's just a prescribed dose. Not a recreational one. I suggest 2-3. Most people I know take 3 (I take 3-4) but as this a harm reduction forum maybe only 2 would be needed but either way 1 isn't enough to experience a "high". So don't judge Soma from just 1 tablet.
 
yah i just came across a shit ton of the (cousin gave me several hundred) 350 mg somas, so i took two. ive never taken them before but i usually have a pretty high tolerance for drugs. Should this be enough or would it be risky to take more?
 
700mg will make me sleepy, really relaxed and clumsy... feels kinda like a benzo high but with its own twist.... hard to explain....but def great drug to mix with opiates

I hate drinking, so maybe that explains why I have never found Soma by itself to be recreational? For me it's either like I hardly feel much, or I have spins and just want to lay down. I can see it being great for sleep combined with a benzo though.

I think Soma is really only recreational combined with opiates, because it kicks the sedation in full notch. It is only good to use if you have no obligations and can just nod out on the couch watching a movie or something. I guess if you like drinking, Soma could be recreational on its own.

I hate drinking & quit 9 years ago but I love the way Soma makes me feel........:p
