Drone Music for Shrooms

Track 4 - "4-Indolol, 3-[2-(Dimethylamino)Ethyl], Phosphate Ester: (Psilocybin)" at 26 minutes may be right up your street. ;)

Can't really go wrong with Sunn0))) - I prefer the White albums and Monoliths & Dimensions, but they're all good.

Disintegration Loops also very worth checking.

I love this thread. Most of the music I listen to is in this thread. Haha... Steve Reich (Played in an ensemble doing Music for 18) and doing radio static is something me and my buddies always do.

Also -- Stars of the Lid. Nurse with Wound. Constellation Records stuff.... GYBE, ASMZ, though that's not so droney... Autechre's Amber and the collab they did with The Hafler Trio.

And to ech0s85: His name's Arturo. Still can't msg.

The Fun Years - baby it's cold inside. Mmmmm NMDA antagonism for the ears.

Nurse with Wound - almost anything.

Throbbing Gristle - almost anything.

Dialing In - Ketalysergicmetamother and The Islamic Bomb. Great noise drones with fuzzy field recordings layered and layered.

Experimental Audio Research (EAR) - The DMT Symphony or The Kohner Experiment. Sonic Boom from Spacemen 3 even dronier ensemble....

I could go on on....droning with drone. It's what I do :) (besides art and drugs. Taking drugs to make music to take drugs to, right? Or is it making drugs to take music to? ;) )

ps - the drone is indeed everywhere. I spent a coupla years locked up, away from music, samplers, and drugs. I eventually was able to find the drone of that god awful place and slip in, let it take me away from the dungeon...the noises starting the day and ending the day were particularly beautiful, if that is the correct word. It's all in the interpretation maaaan.....the droogs just show you it's possible :D
