Xanax and OP Oxycontin...

You can mix them but it is dangerous as they will both contribute to CNS depression. You should always know what you are doing and be fairly experienced when mixing benzos and opiates.

There is a possibility of excessive CNS depression with this combination.

There exist other drugs that are just as effective potentiators but carry a much lower risk of too much CNS depression...

I think you will be fine but I don't know what kind of dosages you are taking. Just be safe and start with your normal dose and maybe take more gradually if that is not enough. And i assume you have experience with both? It's hard to gauge because the OP is ER and don't want you to take too much.

The other night my friend was on xanax, ativan, and oxycontin (hey! it was his birthday, alright...). After we blazed, I was extremely neverous about him driving back to our neighborhood, thank god it was late out and there were no cars on the road.

He kept zoning out into 'vivid daydreams'. I was trying to have a conversation with him, he'd say something or respond to something I said, then he'd close his eyes, and start swaying around. His eyes looked like they were rolling into the back of his head at one point. He wasn't that much fun to be around, he wasn't necessarily lucid. He said he got home and passed out on the floor. He was able to get up and function the next day, but I don't think he would recommend it.

He has tolerance to both drugs, but at the end he ended up doing it too much. I assume that in moderation (ie. less than he did) would be a decent time, but don't try to get fucked off it... If you do want to fucked off of it, let the people around you know that you are going to be 0 fun.
