This will be hard to explain but..

I feel like since my acid trips, my mind is always tripping. Not full blown visual thoughts etc. I do things daily fine that prove I'm in some normal mind state. But throughout the day I'll have thought processes as if I was on acid. It's so hard to explain just a bunch of cluttered thoughts and some quiet noises and then it stops am like "woah thats how I think when I'm tripping". Ive gotten used to it it's interesting. There's often noises in my head also, its small noise once in a while though not like full blown crazy overwhelming noises.

That's the best I can explain sorry if it's confusing but does anyone even know why I'm talking about/experience this themselves

People call it HPPD, or hallucinogen persisting perception disorder. Whether or not you consider it a 'disorder' is up to you. However, since you're stuck with it, you are best learning to love it and ways of playing/experimenting with it; like meditation, deep thinking, visual/audial manifestation, creative expression. One thing that I find the post-tripping state has been profoundly useful for is an ease in slipping in to the astral projection state.

I had some slight measure of this for a while. I adapted it into my sense of humour, with some effort. People tend to get my psychedelically-inspired humour too, which to me hints that there is more common ground between the psychedelic mindset and baseline experience than is immediately apparent.

Its because tripping is reality, and since you've been awakened, you are now in reality :0

True but id say tripping is one of infinite perspectives of viewing reality, not exactly tripping = reality in an "only" sense.

Tripping is viewing with the mind from a macro perspective.

Baseline not tripping is micro perspective.

But both are valid, just different level of focus and different fields of view.

At-least, that's how I attempt to make sense of it...

I have:

Permanently more prominent and intense colors; all colors are just super vivid now.
Tracers on moving things... like when a car drives by. The motion of the car passing makes slight blur off the back of it that extends out a bit. Now, everything that moves has this slight tracing effect.
& lights are just permanently bright.

I can listen to music, like full blown songs, in my head all day now & I can make things slightly breath at will.

I probably have HPPD; but at this point in my life I don't necessarily consider it a "bad" thing.
This all started after doing acid a few times.

**edit**

Oh! And all of this becomes significantly more apparent when I'm tired.

OP, can you describe the symptoms, you bothered by, less comparing them to tripping?

If you worry about your state, you should definitely see a doctor.

IMV, reality is far simpler than an acid trip, and as utterly mundane as it is profound. An LSD trip could potentially be seen one-sidedly "profound", rather than wholistically mundane-profound.

It's because you've taken psychedelics, your perception is now permanently altered. It's just what happens!

The doors of perception have been opened for you... Before you had psychedelic experiences your mind could only think in a linear way. Now your mind knows that there are possibilities other than it's own preconceived ideas which allows it to go places that it didn't used to go.

At least that's how I feel.

You guys are doing a great job scaring this guy and everyone else who doesn't have much experience with psychedelics.
"You opened the doors and can never close them again" etc.

Now he must think he is scarred for life and won't ever be normal again. Well done!
Seriously, if you think cluttered thoughts and getting distracted by trippy thoughts and noises in your head are normal, then you might want to see a psychologist.
OP should maybe stay away from psychedelics untill this gets better.

I don't believe the "HPPD" I have to be a hinderance. It's all subjective man.
