Question 23: Which drug, commonly used as an oral contraceptive, bears a special relationship to THC, and what is the nature of that relationship? (Both parts for a point).

Also, I regretfully inform you that the CD quiz will not be an ongoing feature, but will finish at the end of this month. I have plucked all the low-hanging fruit, and do not feel that I would be able to maintain (what I hope is) the high standard of questions. I will endeavour to come up with another set of questions in order to run another round at some point, but unfortunately it will not be next month. Sorry.
 
Not the answer that I was looking for I'm afraid. The relationship is a chemical rather than a pharmacological one.

progesterone receptor and dopamine recptors are required in THC modulation of sexual receptivity in female rats
 
Close but no cigar, both parts need to be correct for a point. Remember, I said that the relationship is chemical, not pharmacological.

THC shares the same chemical formula as Progesterone.

Weeeell...the rules are that you're only meant to have one go at answering, even if you did fuck it up you kind of have to live with that (as TearItDown did when he mixed up his "oecious"es...and I can't delete your answer and leave the question open, other posters will have seen the correct answer...I'm going to have to declare this question null and void. Nil points for anyone.

Two chemicals that share the same formula are stuctural isomers of one another, btw (that was the answer I was looking for).

Your answer was not correct, you neither named the drug nor identified the special relationship (you identified a relationship, but between two classes of drugs, not the two specific chemicals to which I was referring). kaywholed's first answer was incorrect, which and the second one gave away the answer, making the question null.
