Yo, sup, I'm new here. Decided to join a forum to fill my boredom. See, boredom's my biggest enemy when I'm trying to shall we say, abstain from smack. And I'm 10 days in right now. so I get bored and the first damn thought is always to score. For some reason in moments like these scoring sounds like a great idea. For a moment you forget all the pain and pain in the ass you've endured throughout the years. Being so sick that you can't even wipe your own ass sucks big. In comparison however, being so smacked back that you can't even wipe your own ass is heavenly. Agreed? This brings me to my "Double Edge Sword" theory of dope. Here I'll stop and let yall absorb my post. It's good to be amongst yall, Holler@Me-----%)

Welcome to BL. :) This forum will definitely occupy a majority of your time.
Have you also considered the weed?

Good luck on quitting! You can make it.

There are lots of ways to quit, but cold turkey is the best way to do it if you can. I couldn't. And it wasn't for a lack of trying either.

Welcome to Bluelight - feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions. %)

Captain - If you don't mind me asking, did you finally quit and if so what worked?

Yeah, I quit about 2 years ago, going on 3.

I got on Suboxone and I am still on it, probably will have to quit using it eventually.

It is really good for short and long term tapers, depending on what you want it for and if you are ready to quit for yourself. :)

Welcome to Bluelight :)

Getting off dope can be one of the hardest things a person can do.. but it is totally possible

Swertz - What up meatwad? I agree man, quitting is akin to fighting in a mideval battle. Swinging 60 pound axes, chopping off hands and chit. It's gritty dirty warfare quitting is, and you've got to be a damn warrior man! Know what I mean?

Cap.H - Yeah man, I just used 10 8MG. sublingual strips, and 4 8MG. pills of Suboxone to taper down off of a G a day of smackola, and it had been a three year run. And I tell ya man, They did the trick! Course, I'm only 11 days in, anything could and has been known to happen. But as far as bringing me down off the chit and through the DTs, the Suboxone made it virtually painless. I had also procured 120 Klonopin to act as a sort of "Buddy" to the Suboxone. They got on quite well together I must say! It's dangerous to mix the two, but I did it anyhow and it worked quite, quite well.

Take it easy guys. Hear from ya soon, Laters!
