I've got 7 of 200mg Tramadol Slow Release tablets, having only taken them as described after an operation (Only taken one thus far) what is a normal recreational dose?

Have already had some 30mg codine pills about an hour ago.

Would crushing these Tramadol SR (Zydol SR 200mg) be the best bet?

Don't want to end up dead!

Advice please.

Lil story about Tramadol. One night I took roughly 10 50mgs pills and got pretty twisted. Next day I go see dude and get like 10 more....Next thing I remember I'm waking up in an ambulance. Be careful alot of people don't stress how easy it can be to have a seizure after taking excessive amounts or doing what I did and ignoring the drugs half life. I'm lucky cause I was driving on the highway and crashed into a jersey barrier in the speed lane.

I wouldn't exceed 5-600 mgs, but remember it has a half life and you should probably give it a rest the next day

I was only going to crush up one (x1) 200MG tablet and take that, but I've had some codine and a few beers (3 pints) just want to know if it's a worthwhile risk.

For beginners you shouldn't exceed 400mg due to seizure risks.

A starting dose (for somebody without opiate tolerance) is 100-200mg

You can crush up one of the 200mg XR (SR) pills to get the tramadol quicker, but taking 200mg at a time if you don't have an opiate tolerance might be a bit steep. I recommend starting at 100mg and working you way up from there, going by how you feel and if you feel like you should take more.

Hope this helps :)

I've taken heroin before. IV, snorted and smoked. But haven't in well over a year and it was only a handfull of times, and never heavy use, just something to get to sleep after a heavy weekend on the beer to help cure the sleep/hangover phase.

I don't know much about the time release on Tramadol, to me they are only good for combating withdrawal, and have little recreational value. I know some people swear by them, but I must say to me they are not so gravy, and I'd prefer even Codeine. Anyway OP, if the time release is easy to beat, then taking 400mg is the most you should do in a day. Exceeding this puts you at a risk of a seizure, and is a stupid idea all together. Remember the oral bio availability also increases with repeated dosing. I will forewarn you to be careful and not develop an addiction to Tramadol as well, because the recreational value is very disproportionate to the withdrawals from them. Remember you're coming off an the opiate like drug and an SNRI at the same time, it's total hell.

I've decided to crush up one 200MG and take half and see how I feel. Better to under-dose than over-dose.

If you have done heroin before and become acquainted with its effects I don't think 100mg of Tramadol will do anything. To be honest I don't think any dose of Tramadol will do anything. But then again I have heard of people who've done heroin a couple of times and say that they love Tramadol.

When 100mg does nothing you can always take another 100mg, as the BA actually increases when redosed. Unless of course you do feel something then no need to take more. Just giving you a heads up.
