I am kicking opiates for the nth time this week and need some advice as this time it will be a little different. I only have one suboxone left to work with so it's time to kick this shit for good while I even have it.
I was an IV Oxy user for about a year, got on Suboxone to get off of it and was clean (except the Suboxone) for about 6 months. I then started dabbling with 40mg ER Opanas, which I didn't inject because of the ridiculous process of extracting injectable drugs from it, but snorted instead. I've only recentl started doing these every day, probably about a pill a day for the past 2 weeks. Before that it was a pill a week or so mixed with small doses of suboxone. I have only been doing the opanas for about a month now.
My plan is to IV the smallest amount of suboxone possible to make it last as long as possible, and to just not be fully sick. I know I'm going to be uncomfortable, opana is so much stronger than oxy, I'm probably going to be in hell for the next week even WITH the suboxone. I've strongly considered taking some seroquel and sleeping through the majority of the next week. I don't have a job at the moment, and with the little bit of suboxone I should at least be able to sleep. I don't have access to any benzos to make it any better. My goal is to get this suboxone to last me a week, and by the end of the week be feeling OK enough to continue the rest of the way with nothing. I figure the first 3-4 days are going to be pretty rough but after that I should be feeling much better with just the sub, and this rapid detox should be enough to feel good enough to continue with no suboxone at the end of the 7th day.
Any tips for me? I know I should probably get some immodium as my bowels will probably be raging. I don't have a job at the moment so the sleeping seems like a viable option for me. Obviously I don't plan to sleep for days at a time with no food, but sleeping 12 hours a night will probably be possible with the help of the seroquel. Anyway, I'm looking for any advice to make this as comfortable as possible for me. I've only been doing non prescribed opiates for a month now and I can already see my life falling apart again. I am more motivated to quit this time than I was even when I originally got on the suboxone - I just wish I had 1 more suboxone to quit with. Unfortunately it's pretty rare around here so I doubt I'll have more than the one. Any and all advice is appreciated.
