Super Moon

anyone else planning on tripping and looking at the moon tonight? its at its biggest in eighteen years! got 2.5 grams of shrooms ready for a great evening
 
Well I didn't think it was absolutely HUGE or anything, just a little on the large side. Tripping itself would probably magnify the fucked much more than any elliptic orbit. :)
 
I noticed the past few nights the moon being especially large and bright, I kept telling my friend to look at it. So yeah I bet it will be awesome to look at tonight.
 
I was actually planning on taking some 2C-T-2 tonight, after going out and seeing the moon and the stars. <3 It's a perfect night sky for tripping, and I haven't tripped since January. :D

It was an awesome full moon last night as well, I couldn't believe how bright it was. It looks like it's still full. I didn't know about it being the biggest it has been in years though. Where did you read that? I have seen harvest moons that are enormous.
 
i took 44 mg of 2cb last night and happened to admire the moon. i've seen bigger though
 
Cloud cover from horizon to horizon here so can't see it at all. Was nice 'n' big last night though. Can't say it's looking especially big though, to be honest. Super Moon would be pushing it. Maybe if you measure it very precisely it is but otherwise it just looks like it does any other full moon really. It is definitely brighter than usual though cos I could see to walk up the road (no streetlights were I live) even through the cloud cover.

Was actually crystal clear last night - gorgeous skies but bastard freezing with it. Cloud cover tonight and kinda muggy but not a sosser to be seen in the sky. Ah well. It was nice enough last night when I spied Mr Moon through the kitchen window and doubt it's gone and doubled in size and luminosity or owt since then so will be pleased enough with that :)

Tritium: That's what I mean - although it is actually bigger than usual unless you keep records of such things or happen to have a photographic memory to compare it from one month to the next it just looks like a full moon, to be honest.
 
when i saw a bigger moon, it was just coming up, so it looked extra big. last night looked as big as any other full moon, but maybe a little brighter. thanks for the link though...interesting.
 
thats true.... but since i know that its bigger, the trip should just multiply that effect. im pretty excited for it
 
If I understood correctly, you won't be able to tell that much of a difference. Kind of a bummer, I was expecting like a double sized harvest moon or such.
 
They seem to suggest that it looks much bigger if you look at it with trees in the foreground. Odd but interesting. If anyone has trees to hand do please give it a go and let us know if it suddenly doubles in size :D
 
I saw it last night as well and it was really bright and clear. I didn't know about any super moon either. Don't worry it hasn't got any bigger since last night, just very in your face when you go outside :D

Full moons are always a great time for tripping. It's the time of the month for Goddess worship, a lot of crazy things happen on full moons. If I was to do it ceremonially, I would definitely pick every full moon to trip.

i prefer my moon on the rise, near the horizon in a summer evening. it looks huge AND is red/orange. ;)
 
I was on L, didn't realize it was a super moon but then my gf sent me a text informing me. Beautiful night
