First time DMT

I've smoked marijuana countless times, and have tried ecstasy once. (which ended badly)
I'm not the kind of person who does drugs to escape reality. I look for the deeper meaning
and to help myself understand new ideas and new ways of life. That is why I am considering DMT.
I've heard of the experiences and the other dimension and I'm ready to experience that..

I'm not going to lie, I am completely clueless when it comes to the actual drug part of smoking DMT.
How much do I smoke, how much will it be, how long will it last, are there after effects..

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

dude i dont know how you had a bad time on your first roll, but id say thats a pretty clear sign that hallucinogens are not for you. E is like psychedelia with training wheels.

well maybe he just had a really dirty pill filled with adulterants???

i can imagine first timers popping a methbomb and eat shit on the comedown and say that was a bad experience. right?

but boy dmt is a strong substance man.

my dealer told me that his man made a bad batch and got in tons of shit for it.
It's not that it was a bad trip, I just felt completely sick and made me not want to
try it again.

Ok in that case it's neither here nor there, fact remains that you have not tried other psychedelics first. While some advocate the use of DMT as a first psychedelic to try I would personally say consider exploring the territory a bit with milder psychedelics so that you at
least know the basics about the different basic effects you can get, visuals, body load, etc.

If you want to learn more about yourself and the nature of reality I suggest you try LSD. While DMT can be incredibly insightful it seems it is over quickly after gone a million miles an hour. It is hard to remember or take back things like that. It's certainly not impossible but I hear you can get much more out of using DMT orally, but before doing that, again I suggest start off with something else. A tryptamine / mushrooms, a 2C, acid... etc

I was really apprehensive about using DMT for a long time. I read about it on erowid when I was 15, and I was 23 when I finally tried it. I read a lot about it in those eight years, and built up a preconception of the DMT experience in my head which was a lot different than actually smoking DMT.

When I was ready to smoke it, I had found someone who had used it before, and I asked them to be with me and generally instruct me on how to smoke it and stuff.

We ended up eyeballing a random amount of DMT out of a 250 mg bag, and I went first. He told me where to hold the flame and stuff and helped me get enough in me.

The expereince was remarkably more chill, euphoric, and dreamy than I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong - it's and intense psychedelic expereince, but Solipsis said, you get a huge barrage of psychedelia which you can hardly even begin to interpret before it begins to fade out.

I've experimented with DMT a little bit. I've smoked it 2-3 times with other people, and 2 times by myself. I've never put more than 40 mgs in the pipe at once so far.

For a first time psychedelic though, I would think DMT could have some potential if one was to start at around the 20 mgs level, maybe even less. You can just take a little toke and see what the DMT space is like - I bet you will find it is most appealing, and want to explore it more. I think low dose DMT is quite a nice experience, very subtle and over very very quickly.

Every time i've used it, I don't really like having music on, and I prefer total darkness, or at least having my eyes shut for the duration of the experience. It's a very internalized process, you can almost shut off low dose DMT trips by just opening your eyes and sitting up.

When the experience starts to level off, I am left with a very intense feeling of contented lethargy, very very much like the feeling of halfway inbetween awake and asleep, like when you get up in the morning and immediately drift off again. Very very dreamy and heady, with a strong orgasmic body load, and very euphoric...that's DMT for me!! Even that feeling fades off fast though, leaving you totally basline before you know it.

I have most defintely not had a breakthrough dose of DMT yet....my time will come when it comes though. I'm not knocking on that door to hard.
