How much ativan to get me sorta messed up?

I want to feel the ativan. I took 2mg but felt no physicaly effects like dizzyness, confusion, loss of cordination. I wanna feel alittle drunk.

So how much would you suggest? I dont want to take too much but then i want to take more than 2mg cuz last time i didnt really feel that
 
ive never felt too "drunk" off benzos, i dont get spins or a warm body euphoria. 2mg is a decent dose too considering no tolerance.

maybe you said in my thread about i just got prescribed lorazepam and i missed it? I dont know. I wasnt getting a clear answer in that other thread so i wanted one soley dedicated to it.

So you think I'll definitly feel that?

and is it normal to not feel 2mg for my first time ever taking a benzo?

yeah thats what im hearing. i was a lightweight with opiates. So for benzos am i not a lightweight? Because i felt totally normal after taking 2mg and wasnt tired even in the slightest bit.

^I have to agree. I don't really have any desire to help this guy get high but I'd rather he stay safe and get proper dosing information. This can stay open so he can get some feedback... dosing questions are fine in BDD.

The problem with benzos (especially in people with less experience) is your prone to underestimate the level of inebriation. You ever see that guy who is shitfaced but just doesn't realize how drunk he is? Its like that.

Benzos are relatively safe physically (as long as they aren't combined with opioids, alcohol, etc.) but the disinhibition and memory loss often lead people to keep taking more until they wake up 30 hours later to find a sandwich stuffed into a DVD player, a pile of clothes on the front lawn, all the windows in the house open and a giant tail strapped to their ass with no memory of any of it.
 
We don't know your tolerance, you are just someone online. We cannot help you dose Ativan, sorry.

yeah ive heard that but i swear i didnt feel anything from the 2mg and that i wasnt tired AT ALL. i was expecting to get very sleepy and that didnt happen.
 
^Some people have a high natural tolerance and as far as benzos go, lorazepam isn't one of the more sedating/hypnotic ones.

Actually yes, we do know his tolerance. In detail he explained that he has tried 2mg and it did nothing for him. What we do know about him that was not explained in this thread is that this was his first time. His goal is to feel sort of drunk and I assume to the point where he won't pass out. My suggestion was 4mg. Doubling the dose won't put him at harm of potentially passing out if 2mg did little to nothing. Hopefully you should feel some of the more physical effects of getting drunk like loss of coordination, slurred speech, loss of inhibition, stumbling around. All the physical effects of alcohol intoxication without the euphoria and increased social drive. Although Benzodiazpines have more sedative qualities. So give 4mg a try.

I would advise against taking benzo's to get high or fucked up. Especially when you have what equates to an unlimited supply, like a full prescription bottle. If you are like a lot of people including myself, you will just keep gobbling pills looking for that alcohol-drunk sort of feeling. You'll black out and end up doing something retarded. Use them to alleviate anxiety and relax, or combine LOW doses with other substances to enhance effects

With that said, anything more than 5 or 6mgs of lorazepam will be enough to enter blackout-town
 
Hopefully you have self-control because as Keif' Richards said, its easy to begin taking more and more to get a drunk feeling and you just end up blacking out. And you may do something really bad or stupid. If your going out or at school you should leave the rest of the bottle at home so you don't get carried away.
 
if you wanna feel a little drunk, skip the ativan and drink a few beers. ativan is an anxiolitic. it will relieve anxiety. if you take too much, you'll eventually black out and not remember much.

well i only have a limited supply and know i cant take anymore than the amount i take. to take 4mg im gonna have to take 8 pills. Thats more than i thought already. Ive only got 30 pills to last me till september. So this is gonna be the only time im doing this
