Who thinks DXM is just dirty ketamine?

well its not expensive a bottle of dxm only cough syrup only costs me 3.00$ american, but that being said, I've had a bottle in my cupboard for about 8 months and don't plan on using it unless I really have a cough, I've done dxm a couple of times and it just wasn't that fun to me, plus I couldn't stop myself from looking up all the dxm related deaths while I was on it so that probably marred the experience lol
 
I would have to disagree, for a solid dxm trip its only 7 dollars Canadian. Although i find the two very similar i prefer dxm over k, and find dxm far less nauseating (so long as im not on an empty stomach).. It is more disorienting but so long as your in a safe place its all good.. And i like that dxm gives you time to adjust to the high, i find k to be a little sudden on the come up, most likely because of the insulfating
 
K here is unfortunately incredibly hard to get your hands on, unless you know someone in the industry. DXM freebase however is incredibly easy to acquire, though I wouldn't call either recreational (maybe very low 1st plateau DXM dose + Cannabis). Great tools for personal insight though, and IME that's the only way they should be used. Ket is definitely preferable, it does seem alot cleaner - though DXM suffices for the same purpose it just seems cloudier (though I can understand if your chugging syrup or eating gels, spend an hour and freebase it - it's worth it).
 
Both are dissociatives, thats the only similarity they share.
DXM, because it fucks around with so many parts of the brain, the effects can vary alot.
I wouldnt even compare it to ketamine unless your talking about a heavy 3-4th p trip.

Depending on the dose and the method in which the DXM is administered(Gel cap, Free base, Syrup, Delsym) you could get such a wide verity of effects, from stimulating to sedating, from trippy OEVisuals to wierd and dissociating CEVisuals.

If I took 200mgs in the form of free base, I would have a long lasting yet stimulating high with a touch of psychedelia. If I took 400-800mgs in the form of syrup Id get a short but very dissociating trip. If I took say 300mgs of dxm in any form with a dose of CPM (the infamous anti histamine that's in Coriciden CC) I would get an ultra long not very dissociative(because the lack of DXO) sigma overloaded trip that can be really intense...

dxm is the cleanest funnest most enjoyable high you will ever experience ONCE you are expierenced your first two to three times with the chemical may be unusually strange.. ketamine is illegal for a reason.. it makes people ill. the very first time trying k i puked... do you have any idea how many bottles of cough medicine my stomach can handle, not to mention if you extract the dxm, which has recently just been achieved by my elf. there is no reason to even compare the two really one is for animals and one is for humans to eat and be merri..

What!? Ketamine isn't illegal and its not a controlled substance because it makes you "ill", its a scheduled drug because of its abuse potential. A drug is placed on the Schedule drug scale based on abuse potential and addiction liability.

Ketamine feels much cleaner than DXM, once you are able to find the correct dose you won't have any problems with getting sick. Its best to start with just 100mg and do another 25 or 50mg bump 15 minutes later. You can redose from there, doing another 25-50mg bump every 15 minutes until you reach the K-Hole or wherever you feel comfortable.
 
I've tried DXM once.
Never again shall I.
Worst nausea ever, worst hangover ever, just not worth it.
 
Ketamine is a local anesthetic, DXM is not.
DXM is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. Ketamine is not.
Ketamine is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. DXM is not.
DXM has a really long half life. Ketamine does not.
Ketamine works if you insufflate or inject it, DXM doesn't quite so well.


Both of them get you monged in the right doses though. To each their own i guess

I definitely agree with you though.

DXM makes my tummy upset but I can't say I've ever felt nausea on K.
 
i tripped on a dxm spray it was like pure dxm spray and i drank it and i hallucinated thinking alloyed the noyd was in my brain(yes the dominos pizza enemy) it was fucked up he was chewing my brain cells, i dident like dxm/
