Opioids just watched an episode of intervention...(smoking oxy)

pretty much everyone one here says that smoking oxys is a bad idea (I did search smoking oxys before deciding to write this)... and I agree... but this girl on intervention would smoke oxy pills on a piece of tin foil with what loooked like a glass straw... she looked high and seemed to enjoy it (doing this for years, you'd think she would notice if it wasn't really doing anything)?? but it seems like a waste to me (of a pill)... it has to work, I mean this girl was selling herself to smoke her oxys! It reminded me of people who smoke yaba actually...
 
Just because it's possible doesn't mean its a good idea, and I know smoking Yaba (I'm assuming you mean the methamphetamine/caffeine pills that are popular in Southeast Asia?) is probably really really bad for you, just like smoking Oxys is, and its also most likely wasteful. That's not going to stop the determined addict, of course...there's a reason she's on Intervention :\

In regards to the Yaba pills, those are made illegally/underground so they're probably even worse for you, no real information as to what other stuff they're using as binders/fillers/cuts in there.

I watched someone smoke yaba, and it looks like a regular pill.. they don't bother taking off the coating... the girl who was smoking the oxys did them same, I mean// at least take off the coating... I'm sure that you don't get as high as chewing or snorting and then you get all those binders and fillers lodged into your lungs (?).

I am curious to know if putting oxy on a crack pipe and smoking it would do something?? someone let me know if they have tried this, thanks.
 
People on here always say it doesn't do shit. Well, I used to just agree with that (since obviously bluelighters tend to be much, much better informed than your average drug user), but I started to think about how SO many people did it constantly even though it was pricy, so it must do SOMETHING. Anywho it definitely works, I went into it thinking it would be like a severe knockoff of an oral high but it is a bit different. For a non tolerant user, 15mg smoked(smoking it right) would get them higher than 15mg orally IMO, but the oral high would last a fair amount longer and doesn't require filling your lungs with (surprisingly tasty) fillers.
It does work fine, and it's just a bit different but still in my mind taking them orally or snorting them is a better use. Many people disagree and think smoking them is a way better high... I think it's partially in their head but I wouldn't insult them at the level a lot of Bluelight does haha.
Your crack pipe idea wouldn't work well. If you were going to use anything but foil use some sort of meth pipe, but it'd have to be cleaned constantly.

Also if you didn't realize it, those were OC, OxyContin is gone. Don't try smoking OxyPoop or percocet.
 
The show Intervention would probably be best discussed within the sub-forum Film & Television.

This isn't suitable for Other Drugs though. If this is something you wish to discuss, then first look up the guidelines for F&T if you haven't already, then find a thread in F&T related to the TV show Intervention, if there isn't one, you can start it yourself.
