Hi everyone. Just wanted to pop me head in briefly and say hello and let everyone know Im stil alive! Havent been on for about a week, as have been doing really long days at work then gettin home and barely being able to keep me eyes open after a boot. So whats new? Pinky Im sure having a mutt to walk every day will be good for the mental health, hope so anyway. Im quite chuffed cos I got a small payrise at work, and promised a bigger one in the next month, which equals more gear tokens! Or rather, I got the gear tokens but now might be able to afford to sort a few things out, buy some shit etc...
Aint got much to say really, I have about a T left of the stuff I bought 9 days ago, and unlike the previous batch this one I still rate just as highly, if not higher than wen I first scored it. Pls dont think Im rubbing anyones nose in it who aint got, but its sooo nice to have real H, something to look forward to at the end of the day after a hard days work. Think I may have a week off wen this is gone b4 making another mammoth 6 hour round trip to score!

lotsa you recall my dog died which was sooo horrible and thank god for benzos is all i can say
now,our tortoise has died
we got him from a pet shop when it was still legal to import them
they were brought in a kinda ali baba basket and all the ones on the bottom were dead
the woman in the shop was killing the ones from the middle that had cracked shells.My mom took one with a cracked shell-we took it home and filled the cracks with polyfilla.he lived
40yrs we had him and he has died.there's something about this winter that is just so dark

oh my word, thats so sad, tortoises are lovely lil things. i know, at least the suns out, but i keep feelin dark one minute, happyish the next, just all motivation gone gone gone gone!!

da pools' correct although the spanish word for friend is "Amigo" its better translated as "mate" or in American English, "hommie" or "dude."

Not sure of spelling, but "Ora Laaaeeee!" Translates into "right on"

Anyway, catching up on the Japanese tragedy, Shabu land is a tragedy reaching epic proportions. Kinda more dramtic when you see the wreckage in an orderly, developed society. Fuckin Hell!!! Didn't realize how bad it was getting until I saw CNN in a patients room.

If those readioactive long lasting isotopes get in the upper atmosphere, we're down wind, could be carried to our golden shores.8o I remember people were still sketched about chernobyl when i was in Europe Summer of 86'. Kat my condolensces. About your dog, and your Tortoise. I agree that this is the winter of death. Like to say may it give away to a summer of rebirth but I see one tragedy after another. May God Be with Us All. (Or may The Force be with Us if you don't believe in the Almighty.)
 
Awww Kat, I'm sorry about ur tortoise.

It's horrible to lose any pets, they become part of the family. I'll be gutted when my little men die (rats).

we gave him 40yrs that he wouldn't have otherwise had.
we didn't take him in for the winter-he just dug himself down into the earth and hibernated naturally
we just gave him some bread&milk or some lettuce/dandelion leaves every now and then.
sounds silly but my dad really loved him and is pretty upset.
 
i suffer from psoriasis.I've had it for quite a few years now.
I have seen other people at the pharmacy,on script pick up,who also have it.
I have often wondered if it is in any way connected to my opiate use.
I wanted to ask if anyone else here has skin problems like this?Maybe eczema?
 
@kat Funny you should say that cos since ive been on the shite ive been getting dry skin patches about the size of a 50p on my legs. Ive never been to the doctor with it or mentioned it to the nurse at the clinic but im pretty sure its eczema or psoriasis. Normally i rub it with e45 or any other unscented cream thats in the bathroom cabinet.
But Ive always wondered if its something to do with the gear or what its cut with.

usually,if it is inside the joints(elbows,knees),it is eczema
if it is outside of the joints,it is psoriasis
either way there is no cure-you can just try and treat the symptoms

fuckin always scanadalous fucks in da dope game. Don't beat yourself- we've all have regrets for thinks done out of the desperation thats a natural function of our status and prohibition. We've all been betrayed by a trusted friend or aquaintance and we've all had to rely on absolute twats at one time or another, don't beat yourself up- bad karma on him, hope you cheer up. I know my words are little consolation.

google something like vitamins for psoriasis

i get psoriasis now and again, as sometimes i have dry skin on my knees and outside of elbows. i find that a good body cream helps, like that E45 cream, plus since i've just started taking Cod liver oil caps they help a lot as well.
if you use a good concentrated cream for the outside, and eat oily fish like sardines, mackeral, kippers or pilchards then you're treating it from the inside and out . if you can't stand oily fish (i can't stand oily fish mesself yak) then the cod liver oil caps are good as you don't have to taste the oily nastiness.. They've got vitmain A and D in which are really good for skin. sunlight helps as well but not possible most of the time in this country. Vit C is a good vit as well

some weblinks might say OTC vits and creams aren't really strong enough for treating psoriasis, but i think this is bollox, as they have always helped me, maybe it depends on how severe it is. you could try the OTC vits/creams, and if there's no improvement, ask your doc about special creams and higher doses of vits. it does surpirse me though, that a lot of docs don't seem to know that much about vits/minerals/nutrition etc, now i wonder why that is.
Vits are all good for your mood as well.

It could be due to what cut is in the gear, because smoking fags isn't right good for skin, so i would have thought the poisons they cut gear with won't help either. i think mine is genetic as my dad had it.

PS sorry to hear about your pet, true we can get so attached to our pets :(

That 2nd link sounds a bit like me, I used to worry about everything and anything, still do now tho not as bad. I certainly seem to have less cravings now, whether it's to do with me getting used to no gear IDK. of course they no magic sure but defo help and can't do any harm. I didn't realise there were that many fish oil supps, suppose it depends on how bad your mood is on which one to take.

I found it useful to have a pill box so I don't forget to take them, bought it from Poundland, for a quid of course :) yeeeeyyyyyy!
 
Got a classic from the DC band bad brains. Actually was at the same univeristy that Milo from the descendants at the same time he was a Grad student (in Biochem I think). Met HR from Bad Brains in the 90s when he was couch surfing on a friends couch- interesting individual- just before I started using dope.

But its long. At any rate time to collectively throw the opportunistic bumbs out of office. Short of Dr. Pauls solutions Anarchy doesn't sound like a bad idea. Although all the real anarchists these days are in the Hellenic Republic primarily and secondarily Spain.

Figure I get this stuff down before I start suffering from radiation sickness- then I'll really need dope. Those Reactors across the pond in our backyard just keep blowing. Or maybe will get slow emiters and you'll be stuck with me for10- 20 years before I succumb to cancer. That seems to be the most likely scenario. Don't trust pundits and "experts" on CNN and our other media outlets.
