50mg diphenhydramine to get to sleep after LSD trip

i just took 3 tabs of LSD and was wondering if 50mg diphenhydramine would get me to sleep after the trip ends. i don't want to waste my benzos so i thought diphenhydramine might work.

also, would the diphenhydramine kill the afterglow the next day for some reason?

I dont really see why it would. Maybe? Sometimes dph makes me a little drowsy into the next day.

I doubt it would have any effect other than that, I've used DPH to sleep after using psychedelics and never had a problem.

I'm in agreement that you shouldn't go over 50mg.

i know not to go over 50mg, DPH over that dosage is a bitch.

Alternatively you could stay on the safe side and go with 25mg diphenhydramine and a low dosage of the benzodiazepine of your choice.

i'm currently hoarding all my benzos for later, although i still have to take my daily dose of clonazepam to prevent benzo withdrawl.

I always find diphenhydramine to work pretty well as a sleeping pill. I've never tried it with LSD, but I've used it to get to sleep after a night on MDMA, 2c-i, and some other RC stimulant combos. Sometimes I have to go up to 100 mg if I don't feel tired at all before taking them and I've never had a problem with that dosage.
