Fof is over Thailand is wondering if he is able to bring back Valium for personal use? Does he need a script, declare it, etc?
Has anyone had success stories and/or failures, trouble with the law regarding this matter?
Also what would be the limit that you would be able to have labelled under personal use.

Mods if anything is against guidelines I apologise in advance and please delete accordingly

This has been asked a million times, and long story short it will always be a gamble

i have had friends who have done this. more like a box or two. not an amount that would be deemed traffickable. I am yet to hear of anyone getting in trouble or caught. I don't think any of them realised it was against the law though.

however, it is illegal to possess valium without a prescription in Australia (as it is in Thailand). Importing the drug can land you in serious trouble, including jail. i imagine penalties would vary depending on whether the drug is for personal use or obviously alot, which could be for sale. if I were him I wouldn't risk it.

its not that hard to get a script for valium in Australia, and it is pretty cheap to buy. possibly even cheaper than in thailand.

my friend who was recently over there brought a packet back...

like a pack of valium, who gives a fuck?

i have a feeling this thread is going to be closed for encouraging methods of drug smuggling. :/

Yep... I've unapproved a post suggesting on how to sneak it in and I'm going to close this now.

OP: It is illegal. Whether you will get in any appreciable trouble or not, we cannot say. It is up to the discretion of the officers who may or may not find the valium on you.

Since we're not here to help people smuggle, which is what this looked to be turning into, I'm going to close this. In the future, remember that anything that needs a prescription to obtain here, you need a prescription to import and have to declare it.
