Won my ESA appeal today :) got a lot of back dated money unexpectedly. So happy, I didn't have a penny to my name yesterday.
 
I thought they were stopping everyone's. They disallowed mine last week! Gutted. Left with nothing. Not a snoo.

Did you appeal against it? They stopped mine at the end of last year but I challenged their decision.
 
There's a bit on the form that says 'Have you left the country in the past whatever months' when I'd went away to Amsterdam for a few months, and came back and signed on I just ignored it and lied.

I'm sure you'll have been sent a letter that says 'Due to you not coming in, your dole has now ended'

Just say you forgot to sign off properly, and a relative funded you to go on holiday or to stay with them, or they might ask where you got money from.

Appealed, then went to tribunal - for both ESA and incapacity. Both disallowed. I'm taking it to the upper tribunal. The cunts are fucking me mentally, as well as financially.

She's come to stay and I'm rather liking the tea, cake, hospitality, gossip n' home-cooking that she's brought to our house - and tomorrow we'll be doing gardening things :D

Not at all! I thought you looked pretty damn fine to be honest. Without wanting to piss off the man with the arsenal. ;)

In fact, depending on the light I'll probably look much older than you thought. I think when it comes to me everybody pictures a teenager in eyeliner and a Dennis the Menace jumper. Or summat. :)

A friend of mine went through something similar last year, he ended up getting letters from his doc posting them in with the appeal, he lost his mobility car as well as money and was tranferred to job seekers. he had a physiotherapist as well who wrote on his behalf. if you can get any of those folks to write a letter for you to put in with the appeal get it done asap and hopefully it will be back dated for you.
