So I have done DMAA pills and got a pretty nice feeling akin to a small dose of MDMA. Does anyone else have experience with this substance? I actually heard its good for you as well. I dont know if Im allowed to link this website since it sells but <snip> I came across this when I purchased a party pill from new zealand claiming to be a replacement for X. TRUST ME, its no X, but its its own thing. It was pleasant feeling.

I use DMAA all the time. It's no more of a "party pill" than caffeine would be. It's a very light stimulant with no recreational value. In fact, I mostly use DMAA for the energy it gives me for lifting weights....

But this looks like a spam thread and not an actual post about the merits of DMAA...

Thats what I thought people would think :p Its not though. Ive never even purchased it myself. Is it better for you than caffeine? is it addicting?

It's definitely not addicting, I'll use it on a two week cycle for weight-lifting or so and just stop use to re-build tolerance and there are no withdrawal symptoms or whatever.

It really isn't something that would be good for partying though, like I and Bsiren said, it's used in the fitness world.

It's synergistic with caffeine, i.e. the two work REALLY well together - they potentiate each other to some degree. Try a dose of 100mg caffeine with 20-25mg DMAA and you'll have a good clear-headed energetic feeling for around two hours.
 
According to recent medical studies on the effects of DMAA (http://www.la-press.com/hemodynamic-...-article-a2947), a medical expert declared it to be a safe, naturally occurring compound that is taken from geranium oil and the plant. It is a main ingredient in various "pre-workout" stimulants, and it does not cause adverse side effects. It is actually compared to drinking 2-3 cups of coffee. Of course, like any stimulant, it is important to take the recommended dose and no more. Also, it should not be mixed with additional stimulants like caffeine.

I really don't think this shows much promise for an MDMA replacement. If anything it's a replacement for caffeine.

The only work out supplement I've felt "rolly" on was phentermine, but thats a prescription phenethylamine.
 
DMAA is in my pre-workout Jack3d. its similar to amph for me...and its pretty addicting cant work out without it anymore.
 
I use DMAA almost every day. Does not increase the heart rate by a lot, it feels very comforting and allows for focus during the peak.

I would never use it as a social drug, however.
