Loperamide & Drug Test

I searched for the answer to no evail..
But anyways i took a good dose of lopermide (50mg) and i have a drug test coming up. Will this show up as an opiate on the test? THANKS

It shouldn't show up as a standard morphine/heroin/oxycodone opiate. I could see it being a false positive for methadone-type opiates but it's OTC in most jurisdictions so the worst that would happen is you would have to tell whoever you took some Immodium.

usually the opiates they test for are related in structure to morphine, and loperamide isn't so i guess you should be good.

and grapfruit juice won't work, you need a protein pump inhibitor.

Proton pump inhibitor? Fuck man, please fact check... you would want a P-glycoprotein inhibitor, taking some Prilosec isn't going to do fuck all. Nor with GFJ.

As has been said, drug testing questions aren't allowed but this is pretty simple to figure out... find out what metabolites the test looks for, find out what loperamide metabolizes into. Voila!
