Getting high alone

I take xanax and other benzo's alone because I usually only use them at night-time now days to get to sleep.. Plus xanax makes you act like a retard and not remember anything, so I wouldn't wanna be high on a benzo and be out and about with friends acting a fool... Smoking bud with friends is nice, but its also nice alone... It really don't matter to me either way, but now-days i find myself more and more alone while smoking or whatever.

It all depends.

I hate to use psychadelics alone but absolutely can not do them around other people who are not in the same state.

Drinking and MDMA are not fun alone but it helps to be in good/similar company in an environment conducive to being in that state. If one is rolling at a club where no one else is rolling and all one wants to do is touch people and talk to people, it can get a bit awkward.

As far as Meth. I agree with most other people who say this is best done alone because of the nature of the substance. While it is true that it can be fun with company, most tweekers know there will come a time in the high where me or my friends will start to become ultra focused on something like fixing something, cleaning something, or talking about something kind of out there and it is better to save oneself the trouble of justifying your state to others. Just easier.

99% of the time i get high alone. when my girlfriend is visiting we get high together,but at 34 i am very private and ritualistic about getting high. it's definitely my preference.
 
counting on the drug, of course opiates would be on my own (unless im with someone also using), also like smoking weed on my own or with friends, ecstasy i must have someone dropping with me! amphetamine goes both ways again :P

Obviously, all those negative things were directed at some immaginary version of you so I guess this kind of downplays my transgression.

I have friends that call me up & tell me to go over & hang, watch a movie & get high but I rather do it either with my gf at home or just by myself. When I was younger, I would always hang out with friends but the older I get, I just rather chill at home while blazed & talk to you bluelighters. I sometimes will get high alone & still be able to chill with my girl & she wont complain.
 
i try to get high with others as much as I can but a lot of my friends just don't do drugs. Which sucks. I smoke weed alone 99% of the time, every day pretty much. I have never done coke by myself oddly, probably because im always drunk when I do coke and I don't get drunk bymyself very often. I'll drink a couple brews or 40 or whatever bymyself but never get hammered alone. Mdma I've done by myself and with people about the same amount. It's fun both ways.
 
It all depends on which drugs I am taking as to weather I want company or not. If I was taking E then would definetly want company. But as my drug of choice is heroin, I am more than happy to sit at home alone slowly getting wasted.
 
I prefer benzos alone.
Weed alone or shared.
H alone.
MDMA with friends or on my own
LSD on my own for introspection or with a close knit group of friends for kicks.
K on my own or with mates.
 
like many said before, it depends on the drug. i like opiates, but many of my friends don't, so i'm forced to do them alone or with the people i collect from which can be tiring. but overall, i'd have to say i enjoy it alone.
 
None of my friends use any drugs at all, except for alcohol on occasion. No one introduced me to drugs - I introduced myself during a fit of boredom one day. I vaguely knew that cough syrup (DXM) could get you "high", and I had some pure DXM syrup due to a chronic dry cough. After researching for a while, I just went ahead and did it. I live alone - I used to have roommates, and I think that if I still had roommates, I never would have tried the syrup.

Although I've offered 2C-I to my friends, none of them are interested. I have started a trip before to have a friend come over later, sometimes with their knowledge, sometimes not.
 
I started smoking pot alone becuase basically i hated the feeling people were just using me for weed and the fact i honestly couldnt relate to anyone. But at the end of every night i go and sit by myself when im high and i dont feel disturbed.
 
I would smoke weed alone all the time except....
It costs too much
I feel like when i get high all the time by myself, getting high stops being special and becomes the norm. I feel like I enjoy getting high more when I dont smoke alone because then its a much rarer experience, and i look forward to it more.
 
I usually do opiates alone, they're not incredibly social and generally I'm quite content just relaxing with a movie, some tunes and maybe some gaming or forum time when I'm high on opiates.

Most other drugs I prefer in a party/social type setting.
