I have been getting decent gear in brum off the pakii firms but it really expensive and min oz managed to get a q in manchester but he don't know if he can get anymore he cut the rest of his gear to fuck and give it his shotters .2 £10 should of give . 1 of decent

@ basket: go slow. I've read the ashtom manual and today is day 15 from sub- I think tappering is the key. Keeping busy too, Ashton says go slow, BUT DON'T GO BACKWARDS. Thats my problem on the day off-want to relax on the couch- I can ususally lnow go through a whole 12 hour shift without a benzo, but the clonopin has a long half life and I take my Rx dose after- was gonna taper today but strained my back at work- excuses, excuses. Boredom, I think is a major factor- I should be paddling out surfing. I wont't lecture 12 step, well maybe I will- it helps keep me kinda sane- I just got to get honest with someone as to were I'm at. Talked to someone at a meeting that had to kick a 32 mg sub, multiple xanax, loraz, ect... cold turkey in a facility- fucking barbaric.
Only in puritanical America- that was the only way they would take him- they were nice enough to let him spend his first 2 weeks in the toilet/tub shitting and vomiting in tandem- he felt like he was going to have a psychotic break (with the benzos detox). But now he has over 3 years clean so he values his experience- that and ge actively works with people.

I sometimes feel like a liabiliy- should where shirt saying "new commers stay away I'm fuckin insane" I 'confessed my internet obsession- 1st thought in peoples minds was porn or facebook or mutilation sites- no I say, those are healthy by contrast- I still have a morbid fscination with drugs- its a part of my fabric. So I'm a posterboy of what not to do which isn't much- funny thing is I haven't found anybody in there thats new whose heard of BL?!

Oh i LOVEEEEEE.......... Operation Ivy!!!! Another one of my favorite bands!!!! When i was a teenager my mates & I would jump around to Operation Ivy every time we were drunk, they remind me of some very happy times!! & i still listen to them when i want something to cheer me up!! They are BRILLIANT!!!!

I was lucky enough to get to see them 3 times in 89' @ the Berkley Street Project...they were amazing. I got clean for 3.5 years in the Bay Area late 90s through 2002. As for There was a big straight edge scene and big Punk scene in NA, maybe why a few Rancid members were sober. I was very involved in young peoples committee and there were many punk shows put on, people in that scene that got clean from heroin primarily- so heroin was big in the punk scene at that time (and San Francisco in general). Now here in San Diego the young are all sober ravers these days.

i still can't believe this has lasted so long
and in all honesty who can say when it will be back to normal,if ever?
security is not what it was at chemists because nobody has tried robbing them for so long-so who's up for it?
i suppose they don't carry the goodies they used to but you only gotta hit the safe and there sure gotta be some goodies in there
i checked out my new local pharmacy and the safe is not even a proper thick metal safe-it's just a tin box thing

you would need to know which chemists pescribe the goodies - as they dont hold anything otherwise just order it in.still would get a shit load of 'done yawnzzzzz and maybe some strong PK's- need a chemist in an area full of oldies maybe even an old peeps home or a hospice but I havent got the inclination or the nerve.

Hi HeadCandy!! I only heard to~day that they played in Dublin last night, i can't believe i missed that!! I would love to head over to Manchester for the gig, but i'd never get the time off work.

Did you see that Steve Ignorant had to postpone his USA gigs? Something has gone wrong with their visas, so they are going to postpone the gigs for now, its such a shame!!

How are things going with the H around your way? Sorry if you've already said in an earlier post, i'm only in from work & catching up on posts now. Things are still crap in Dublin, i haven't even tried to score this week, but from what i hear its all still just 2/10 crap!! If people would just stop buying the low grade rubbish then maybe....... just maybe...... things might start getting a bit better, maybe dealers would stop dancing on it. Coz there is a bit of gear in what they are selling, so maybe if people just said no to the crap then maybe the dealers would stop cutting it so much!!!

The harvest must be soon?! One half of me wants so SO much to stay clean, but the other half of me can hardly wait to score proper gear!! Its such a head wreck!!! 8(

Hi Kkattasic! Yeah lets hope its sooooon!!!! & lets hope a harvest is enough to get things back to normal again, there seems to be a number of factors that came together to cause this awful drought. Lets just hope that this doesn't end up like that Australian H drought that went on for 4 years! & there is still no real explanation as to what really caused it!!

The Doctor in my clinic said back in December that he had info that said a big cause of this drought was due to the floods in Pakistan, he said that a lot of the H got totally washed away in the floods, & that also because of all the damage to the roads ect the normal routes that the smugglers used were all destroyed, & their transport was destroyed too.

I can't remember how much of the poppies were destroyed by the poppy blight, it was either a half or a third of the harvest, so if then a large amount of that H that was produced got washed away in the floods there would have been very little H left!! & then if there were problems with the Turkish dealers, then i can understand why there is such a bad drought.

But what about all of the so called 'stock piles' of H in Afghanistan? That is one thing that i could never understand? All the smugglers & the main dealers have lost out on millions of £'s over the last 4 months, so surly they wouldn't hold on to their stock piles of H when there is such a huge shortage?!

Its crazy how few reports there are in the media about the H drought, i know that the media always lie anyway, this is such a bloody Nanny state, i hate it!!!! But surly the fact that Heroin has been totally wiped off the streets of the U.K, Ireland & else where is a massive news story??? But there has been so little said about it.

I wish we knew for sure what was going on!! I wish we knew for sure that when the next harvest comes then everything will all be back to normal!! I wish we just had some good hard facts about what is going on!!! But another part of me wishes that i would just stop obsessing over it, that part of me wants to move on with my life & stay clean!! But a bigger part of me wants to score proper gear A.S.A.P!!!! In the last 4 months i have only managed to score proper H twice, yet i've been on the two H threads EVERY single day talking about H!!! Its more then just an addiction, its an obsession!!! Or are the two things are the same? 8(

still getting decent at silly money spent over £5000 since november just glad I have a well paid job to allow me to carry on I don't belive we are waiting on a new harvest they have about 2 years stock piled enough for the who've worlds demand just wish it would sort out soon got 2 weeks hols in june might go on a junky holiday to save money in a while crocodile

Couple of questions, does use always lead to injecting? Also, can you snort the stuff known as china white and have you come across black tar or is that more of an American thing?
I know there is a stigma about heroin use, just wondering if you can really keep tabs on it and maintain a 'normal' life.

use doesn't always lead to injecting, i no plenty of people still smoke it, i personally started injecting because it was cheaper, then once i had that first shot i couldn't go back, even though i don't inject anymore just toot it after i got clean from a habit, i have never come across black tar in uk this is mexico heroin, you can snort china white though (don't snort it if you get uk heroin, smoke it on foil!)

its the same as the usa stockpiling gold pushing the price up to elevate the pressure on there economy Afghanistan is doing the same with heroin that is selling in the uk more exspensive than gold per oz

well dya no what, i got my habit b4 the war started in afghanistan, and that was very fine gear back then when i got my habit, and its been pretty fine gear all the way. i was living a normal life in a professional job, and doing bar work at the weekends until this drought, and now my head has gone. maybe its coz idont have anything to work for.

black tar? i think i did come across this stuff many many years ago, i was very apprehensive, but yeah, come to think of it, i think it must of been black tar, strange, very dark sticky gear, that wasnt powdred i think.

im a booter (smoker) and would only smoke a bag a day, and never save any till the morning. im a gear fiend, if i have it i smoke it, but when it comes back proper i might have to start stock piling my self !!

at the start of this drought thing i was so jealous when i was reading tales of people finding tubes and bag wraps and all sorts, but no, i would smoke my bag and then get on with my evening, providing the dealer hadnt taken an eternity to arrive ...... man eternity to arrive.... i think its meant to be getting better now tho. i had a boot last night, and it knocked me out more than i thought!!

thanks for the feedback mrDopesick and pinkpapaver. yeah was just seeing what the difference was between tar and powder, seems as though powder is taking over the US.
Curious about it but I know it's all to easy to pick up a habit and lose your way, I have an addictive personality, and this seems like one that is difficult to keep tabs on so I know this isn't for me lol. The thought of physical addiction is quite scary as well. The anthrax infected batches that pop up occasionally are kind of off-putting as well. Seems kind of hard to maintain a normal lifestyle compared with other drugs. Just wanted to get a bit of perspective behind the image so thanks. got a few codeine tablets left from my injury which just make me itch but are cool after a few beers.:D
Wouldn't mind trying opium one day but i think that is as far as I'd go but who knows. All the best anyway.
