(PERRYVILLE, MD) – Two Virginia men are under arrest this morning facing multiple felony drug charges after they were captured by troopers on I-95 yesterday following a pursuit and the recovery of suspected heroin.

During the pursuit, troopers saw Tyler moving around in the truck before eventually throwing something out the window. Troopers recovered the item and found it to be a kilo-sized heat sealed plastic bag with suspected heroin inside.

Apparently, water had been poured on it in an attempt to destroy it. The bag contained almost 49 grams of heroin, more than four times the amount needed for the felony charge of importation of heroin. More than nine grams of heroin were found on Jones when he was searched. Troopers also found more than ten grams of marijuana in the truck.

Haha that shit's great, dude destroyed 950 grams with the water and thought it was all gone. Sucks they still got him for the 49 grams thought. That's one of the smarter things I've heard of as far as tryin to get rid of evidence, cuz if it was all ruined they prob wouldn't of been able to charge him for shit but the chase.
 
First of all it was a stupid move because if your transporting a Kee of heroin you shouldnt have any equipment failures (broken headlights, missing plates ect.) let alone smoking weed. Best bet was to get a late model rental and dont smoke weed. Even though its called "The Drug Game" its not a game.

With that kind of weight, its a business where the slightest mistake could cost you your freedom. Smoking weed is so stupid to do when your driving with stuff in your car & like you've stated, that car better be in tip top shape. Rental is the best way to go.
 
Yeah, it makes you wonder how many people do get a rental/car in good shape and don't smoke weed/do other drugs while driving things across state lines.

...and of course these guys were from Richmond. *sigh*
 
^Same here, these guys obviously thought they were invincable or were just idiots.

Smoking weed while driving is a bad idea, but smoking weed while driving and carrying large amounts of heroin is just asking to get fucked.
 
thats why the number one rule is...if you are gonna do something illegal...dont do two things illegal...if your gonna run some stuff dont speed, have a tailight out, dui etc...if you are gonna do one of the above mentioned dont be carrying a kilo of anything
 
I too am finding myself bewildered at the actions of these two goons. However, I can't necessarily say that I don't understand the level of "strung out junkie superstar" these guys were at (pre-arrest) to have even entertained the possibility of smoking trees while transporting a kilo of dope on the highway. I used to roll around with a ton of shit that could've sent me away for a long-ass time, and thankfully I don't fuck with anything anymore - but I definitely have smoked blunts and done other stupid shit like shot myself up while driving while I was deep in the throes of a terrible smack addiction. These guys probably didn't give a fuck. At the time at least. I would imagine they are hurting quite badly, kicking in a cell right now. Enough to give me the chills just thinking about it :(
