Beach Boys appreciation thread

Besides that first song I enjoyed the whole album. Thanks for introducing me to another amazing Beach Boys album :D

I saw them at a 4th of July celebration here in Houston more than 5 years ago....>TERRIBLE. You know I love the Beach Boys, but they had uncle Jesse from Full House playing drums....played Kokomo twice...once as a encore :( Might jade you a little so I would say no to a concert!

Now I don't feel so bad for missing their show a few months ago.

And that sounds like absolute torture. John Stamos playing drums?!?!
Thats a fucking mockery of the Beach Boys....

Dead serious man.......Uncle Stamos on the kit. It might have even been more than 5 years ago(my memory can be sketchy). I would pay everything I have to see a full performance of Pet Sounds via 1967 at the Albert Hall. One of those concerts I dream would have taken place :)

^^Yes he is!! The problem with the Beach Boys is that people think of them as this bubble gum surf band(which they were to an extent), but they are another great example of how psychedelics changed the game in terms of music. Paul was blown away after listening to Pet Sounds so it has to be good :)

Inspired Sgt. Pepper, right?
Or is it the other way around?
