Hey y'all, hopefully someone hasn't thought of this before, but I did use the search bar and nothing came up, so here it goes:

After researching about diazepam's solubility in ethylene glycol, I decided to conduct an experiment of my own. Polyethylene glycol, aka MiraLax, has a similar chemical structure to EG, so I decided to mix a few Valiums, a scoop of PEG and some orange juice together in an 8 oz. cup. The results were shockingly amazing! =D
Approx. 5-10 minutes after oral ingestion, the full effect of the Valium kicked in, and much harder too IMO. I don't know quite why this worked, but I guess that the diazepam dissolved in the mixture, and was able to absorb better than just ingesting the tabs with water. If anyone else wants to try this, I would love to hear some feedback!

Interesting, I still prefer sublingual administration of benzos :)

Also, we discourage the use of SWIM/SWIY here, we know it's you =D

Haha alright, I just wanted to play it safe, but I agree! Nothing beats one of those lil' blue fellows under the tongue. I'm starting to like the taste!

DON'T LIST YOUR SCRIPTS

No worries, different forums have different rules/expectations, I should have said this in my first reply, but welcome to bluelight!

Even though you're talking about diazepam in PEG, you may find this thread quite interesting, it's dealing with the solubilities of various benzodiazepines in water, and is quite extensive.

Actually it's explicitly not allowed.

The experiment with propylene glycol is quite interesting though and I think your explanation is accurate. Perhaps you could try dosing the propyelen glycol sublingually swallowing after 15 min or so?

Diazepam has a 93% oral bioavailability meaning that it can't be made that much stronger than ingesting it already is and I doubt dissolving it did anything but maybe allowed it to absorb SLIGHTLY faster allowing for SLIGHTLY quicker onset. I don't see any reason for this to stay open as this doesn't have harm reduction value but we can see if any worthwhile discussion is generated first.

Fortunately, the scripts are legitimate, so I haven't quite broken any laws %).
I'll try to do that next time, maybe we have found a slight potentiator. IMO, it does work, but it may just be a placebo... who knows?

Edit out the SWIM's.

Done. I don't think this needs to stay open. Like previously stated the BA of oral valium is already greater than 90%, so I can't see mixing it with miralax improving the intensity of the drug. All I can think of really is that by powdering it and suspending it in PEG it was able to absorb slightly faster.

Personally I can take valium sublingually and start feeling it within 15 minutes no problem. Sublingual is very effective.
