Hi. I was wondering if taking Gravol (dimenhydrinate) would take care of heroin related nausea? I'm not sure if its the taste (ROA is insufflation) or just general opiate nausea, but its pretty bad.

I know this seems like a no brainer, taking anti nausea meds should make nausea go away, I'm just not sure if the heroin would overpower the Gravol....

Thanks!

probably would, and it would potentiate the heroin a fair bit.

if you take gravol/benadryl half an hour before you dose you'll get exponentially higher and it does wonders for the itch.

Yep take 50mg of benadryl or 100mg of gravol. Dimenhydrinate (Gravol) is actually a diphenhydramine (Benadryl) prodrug - so dimenhydrinate turns into diphenhydramine in the body. 100mg of gravol is equivalent to 50mg of benadryl. However, I find diphenhydramine to be much more effective than dimenhydrinate, especially for itch and nausea.

makes sense, seeing as dimenhydrinate is the precursor, you wouldn't have to wait for any metabolism into DPH to occur before the effects set in
